I had the distinct pleasure of going out for a walk one evening in Hawaii with friends. We heard the soaring voices of the Hallelujah Chorus and went to explore. There in a large church much like this, we stood in awe listening to the congregation sing. It brings tears to my eyes to hear it again. What an amazing chorus. The power and beauty of this congregation singing the Hallelujah Chorus is truly what Christmas is all about. Thank you for sharing it.

Amazing, tongan singing the hallelujah in the tongan language, I wondered if any other country do, most Tongan church sings that song, imagine if they all sing togather, that would be awesome, praising the God togather,

Fiji churches (Methodists) usually sing the English version. I think there's no Fijian version but I stand to be corrected.

Love Tongans naturally ready to sing impromptu unrehearsed. The thing is most Tongans in the Methodist demonination know it off by heart, their part they sing in whether it be soprano alto, tenor or bass. Natural coming together of beautiful harmonies. It such a powerful piece of music and lifts everyone singers and listeners to another level ... you truly feel you are in heaven

its common in large tongan churches....the format of the church has areas for royals to sit (left side of the church) and also to the right which seats church ministers and also special guests

It's not how this church or that church do it best then the other, the whole point is the God of our creation the Creator is up lifted and honour, to the highest, He who is our adoration and praise for ever and aver, He who gave the voice, who plan the occasion, He who bless everyone that sings and us who enjoyed the praise of our God, the living God, image if you sing hallelujah to an idol, it won't understand as we know that it is a dead objects, it is.the biggest jokes for mankind, and a shame, BUT God already informed us in the Holy Bible, LET GOD BE PRAISED FOR EVER AND EVER AMEN.
