Ah that happened with me once too..there are a couple of solutions..1. check if the top part of soil is staying too moist for a longer time..that is the easiest way for gnats to breed..if that's the case you need to switch out the soil..2. keep the plant closer to light every few days so that the soil gets proper air..3. don't over water the plant 4. use gnat traps that are available in stores 5. keep soil covered with stones so there is no place for them to breed..Hope this helps
