Dam so glad I got rid of the kettle, reduces caffeine, sweater, keeps the nutrients, not only will I save on electric it will be healthy, off to make a cold Jasmine green tea :)
I tried Fukamushi Yamaga as a cold brew for the first time the other day, and it was wonderful! Very pleasant and soft and perfect for the hot weather! Thanks!
In the summertime, I like to mix a little bit of lemon cordial with my cold-brew green tea. That said, I was worried that cordial might inhibit the absorption of those wonderful antioxidants. Is it ok to mix green tea with a little bit of lemon cordial, and will I still get the benefits of those antioxidants from the green tea?
I think you will still get them and you may even get more because of the lemon cordial. The only thing I've heard interfering with the antioxidants is milk
Trying to up my tea game here--I have your teas coming in the mail!Does the amount of green tea to water scale? Can i do 10-20g tea leaves to 1L of water?
Thank you so much for your order! For some reason it does not seem to scale so well. I would recommend making it in 2 different pitchers if you want more. You might need to experiment a bit to find the ideal cold brew recipe
Hojicha has a similar taste to coffee but it is a bit weaker. If you want a strong flavor I would say matcha is the strongest and you can save on both during our fall sales: nioteas.com/collections/fall-sales

yes but it works especially well with Japanese green tea. We have a great deal going on right now for our best cold brew teas: nioteas.com/collections/summer-sales
I use water that has been chilled all day, then add the green tea and let it steep overnight.
Same here.

I assume we only do one infusion with the leaves when cold brewing?
yes I can't quite figure out why but I can never get as good of a flavor after a long cold brew. You can still try a second infusion though!
I'm making second infusion overnight, it gives me water just with slight taste of green tea, but it still good to drink it instead of regular water
is cold brew tea going to be antioxidant as well. less or more?
It will extract less. Catechins are an antioxidant but they are bitter
@@Nioteas nope, cold brew has more antioxidants noob

What's the brand of the pitcher you're using?
It's Hario! They are super popular in Japan. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video
