    "A bard"- Annie Lennox "This Irish geezer" - Bono. Ok so Hozier's collecting nick names/new potential twitter titles from his heroes and favorite musicians.

    Bono and Andrew are both great musicians, Ireland has given us some amazing talent. Miss Sarajevo was such a comfort in the middle of the war nightmare and knowing someone like Bono or Pavarotti cared in the comfort of their own life was heart warming and reassuring that kindness and good still exist despite all odds. The concert there 20 years ago was a definite return to normal and such a powerful event. In this faithless and materialistic world, there is a lot of injustice and evil and you need to fight your battles in the songs which have replaced a place of worship for many. Your songs touch the deepest steings of a human soul in a very powerful and effective way. Choose your battles carefully, we need to save what little is left of our moral values and protect our children and the planet: by walking, recycling, using less screens and energy rather than ranting in the street, not going to school a going on a strike and blocking the streets. As for the church, it is like a hospital, despite many corrupt or incompetent doctors or even ideas, it still remains the place to go for healing and I like to think that the good and engaged bees for the greater human good prevail. Also, everything considered, Miliey Cyrus would not be a guest I would imagine for this show, a few catchy songs but not someone to put as an admirable human example to follow; as you two are. Thank you for what you are doing and God bless.

    This was great! I love to listen to Bono. He is not just a great singer, but simply a humble great human being! I love his big heart. He is getting older and wiser and I can’t even describe how much U2 helped me with their songs going through life! I wish to shake his hand one day and say thanks!

    What a beautiful session this was! It’s such a powerful message; bringing awareness to One and Red organizations is truly a gift to those who are in dire need of medicine and to rise out of extreme poverty. We need to have more humanitarian’s and activists in the world such as yourself, Bono, & Annie Lennox (amongst many others) to make a difference in the lives of our generation and those to follow. I can’t thank you enough Andrew and everyone who are able to pull this podcast together. It’s truly an honor to listen to the words of some of the most influential people in the world who are making a huge difference to so many!! Thank you!! ❤️🖤💫

      @@mikerb8111 inspiration&education are important, also bringing up those subjects. It is important, especially in the countries where ppl feel abandoned and hopeless and feel like stopping their fight bc they can't do this anymore, and this podcast gives hope that by baby steps humanity can achieve something. and it's more important especially now when ppl are so cynical and devastated. And when faith and optimism are shamed. And really they could do whatever they wanted to do but they chose to spent their resources on this. It's important and it's not easy at all.

    • @mikerb8111
      @mikerb8111 Před 2 lety

      @@Aloockhard You are right, the world is all too cynical. With this I agree. A large part of that cynicism comes in when we see behind the veil. People who say one thing but do another. Listening to millionaires pontificate on issues as if to lecture you and I, the peasants. These are peoples whos hands never calloused a day in their lives, they whos sense of self worth stems from the need to be admired. To think that this type of elite prestige hold no currency is naïve. Of course they want to appear as if they care about whatever cause of the day is in vouge. Why wouldnt they want that? They want it all.
      Bono is as sincere as any used car sales man. Spirit of Rock and Roll? Nah, that is dead and was buried under a Lithuanian Mall that Bono secretly owns. Hozier is a poser who wafts off the creditability of other people. That's why Nina is crying and not Pozier...

    • @Aloockhard
      @Aloockhard Před 2 lety

      @@mikerb8111 it's important that they talk about how little things can be meaningful. It is inspiring. Maybe not for you, but for millions other people.. And if only one of ten ppl do something after listening to this, it's important. If only one of a thousand.. still important. I think people are drowning and suffocating in their perfectionism and infantilism they expect a lot of others and don't give anything to the world themselves because they are discouraged, hopeless and cynical. They think if it's not perfect, then it's insignificant and useless. And it kills all the good inside of them. And instead of doing something, a tiny thing, people just judging others for not doing perfect. It is super important to do what you can, not perfect, just something, it's making difference and for someone it could mean the world. It's so easy to blame people with resources for all your problems and world's problems.. Nobody is saint but it doesn't mean we can't do good, at least a little.

    I would love if Andrew were to talk to a more politically right wing(ish) person... I feel as if two opposing sides is more interesting than two people agreeing with each other. Don't get me wrong- I love both the podcast and the creator, but hearing his views and opinions up against someone who disagrees would be an interesting conversation to hear (note: not a debate). Overall I love CP and still find it very interesting! Get some rest though, Andrew :]

      would be interesting to hear, and kind of just to see how Andrew would build rapport, and be his usual super respectful self...but what if being confronted with some total right-wing BS? But all people in this podcast will be probably like-minded, cause as you said, it's not a debate kind of thing, and then i'm wondering if those typical right-wingers actually do any sensible charity? I would be happy to see someone who is actually super straightforward in a cool way (no idea who it could be), you know without all this flattery and stuff, because let's be honest, we all know Hozier's music, is GREAt, right? i guess true admiration is revealed by the way you talk, what you mention, what you know about and stuff. So yep, waiting for other personalities :)
