Squidward is not 100% hateful towards Spongebob. In an episode when Mr Krabs sold Spongebob’s soul for a nickel or two, Squidward tells Mr Krabs that he shouldn’t of sold Spongebob’s soul. I guess Squidward has a bit of kindness in his heart. Well, one of the three hearts he has.
Actually, when Bubble Bass first enters the Krusty Krab, we can clearly see that Spongebob recognizes him and isn’t exactly pleased to see him which implies something happened between them in the past.
Squidward isn't number one, he has even more of a love hate relationship with spongebob than plankton, ex. In the same pizza episode you showed to display his hatred, he sticks up for spongebob when the customer makes him cry. And invited him to his clarinet recital, and came to his party, and actually looked happy to be there, plus he felt bad for giving him the bomb pie and was upset with Mr. Krabs when he sold spongebob's soul.

Squidward and SpongeBob are both outcasts, they each have their own hobbies and are not respected by peers. Finding themselves in fast food work. SpongeBob is optimistic about his dreams while Squidward is Cynical. They are essentially polar opposites of one another.
To be fair, Squidward and Mrs. Puff have legitimate reasons to hate Spongebob, *especially* Mrs. Puff. To put it simply, Squidward is just flat out annoyed by everything, but mostly the fact that Spongebob can enjoy the mediocre life he has to the fullest and always seems to succeed while he can barely stand to get out of bed every morning and has failed at everything that has meaning to him. Mrs. Puff on the other hand, is both mentally and physically traumatized by her experiences with him because driving is virtually the one thing Spongebob can't succeed at and that means she'll likely be stuck with him until either he gives up or he finally gets his driver's license, and I doubt they would ever end the show with Spongebob getting his driver's license. In addition to this, his antics constantly land her in prison for little reason besides being the one supposedly responsible for his actions, even though she tries to act as the little voice of reason he never listens to. And this isn't even covering episodes like "Demolition Doofus" where Spongebob's actions justifiably drive Mrs. Puff to try and be rid of him, no matter the cost.
Yeah, I get what you mean. Outright murder, even in cartoons, is never okay if the consequences are truly severe (with slapstick cartoons like Tom & Jerry it Looney Tunes, you know the characters can recover from just about anything). I probably could have worded that bit better. What I’m trying to say is that in “Demolition Doofus”, you can at least understand why and perhaps even sympathize with Mrs. Puff for wanting to kill Spongebob after he permanently injured her after ignoring her pleas for him to stop (even going so far as to openly acknowledge himself that “one more crash like that and you would’ve popped for sure”) and then have the audacity of trying to make light of the situation and continuing to ignore/remain oblivious of her complete hatred of him. By no means does this actually make what Mrs. Puff is trying to do right or even make her the “good guy”, but you can at least know she has a legitimate reason for wanting to see our favorite, plucky yellow sponge eat pavement.
the reasons why sqyidward hates spongebob is because when they do thier random sh*t, the make a bunch of noise(which he can fine them for disturbing the peace) and randomly coming into his house. They never leave him alone and annoy the hell out of him. Not leaving him alone was okay in "Are You Happy Now" because he just wanted to give him a happiest memory. Waaaaayyyyyy too much stuff is completly unjustified. Pre-movie had squidward karma. How is quoting a line (or a noise) from this is even worth the time? It's not like this particular quote is significant in anyway shape or form. Squidward Tentacles is my favorite character from SpongeBob SquarePants, I don't know if he hates Spongebob, but he probably really dislikes him, but he has a good reason to, since Spongebob annoyes him, and sometimes does not leave him alone.
He called out on Krabs selling SpongeBob's soul for 62 ¢, but there have been more moments when he had a sort of respect for him, even when his hindrance could get the best of Squidward at times.

In "Demolition Doofus" (S08 E39), Mrs. Puff actually went THAT far that she wanted Spongebob DEAD. That was the episode that made me hate her so fishing much.
I agree with you about that; think about when she enters his name into the demolition derby to kill him; I don't remember ever seeing her trying to save SpongeBob's life & have seen Squidward do that. I think the reason why SpongeBob SquarePants doesn't do well in her class is that he has too much responsibility or too much to worry about & take care of; for example: SpongeBob has to take care of Gary the snail, go jellyfishing with Patrick, doing karate & working on science with Sandy, working at the Krusty Krab, helping Mr. Krabs keep an eye out for Plankton, & more. I don't think Mrs. Puffs will ever see it that way, & because of all the bad stuff she does to SpongeBob to me makes her a villain.
I don't believe Squidward truly hates Spongebob, even though he says he does. Deep down inside, he truly cares about him. If he really did hate him, he wouldn't stand up for him from time to time. There was this one scene in Pizza Delivery he gives a customer a piece of his mind after making poor Spongebob cry. And another where he puts himself in danger to save him from getting hit by a truck.
I know one! In the episode "Graveyard shift" Spongebob and Squidward have to work at the Krusty Krab for 24 hours. While they are working one time, Squidward tells Spongebob a spooky story about a character called the Slash-slinging slasher (if I'm wrong, sorry). Then later that night, the light are flickering, while Squidward is blaming Spongebob for it. But Spongebob is telling Squidward it's not him. The story starts to get more creepy, until there is a bus outside the Krusty Krab. Then, In the shadows, Is the character from Squidward's story. Spongebob thinks that Squidward did something for him. Squidward said that he hates him and wouldn't do that. That's when They notice, from all the effects, that this character is real. They are terrified, thinking that it's the end. So they try to confess stuff to each other. One that I really smiled at hearing, was that Squidward always, sort of, liked him. I'm not going to spoil the end. That was one moment to fit in this category!
the perfect spongebob series finale- “Plankton’s Plan/Spongebob’s Last Shift” Plankton hatches a plan to get the secret formula back by hiring Mrs Puff to purposely allow Spongebob to pass the driving test, and when Spongebob passes, Plankton uses a butterfly to chase Spongebob’s car down into Rock Bottom, where he is trapped. When they realize Spongebob is gone, Squidward, Mr Krabs, Patrick, Sandy, Gary, Pearl, The Flying Dutchman, Mrs Puff, Mermaid Man, Barnacle Boy and a backstabbing Karen hatch a plan to get back at Plankton and save Spongebob. When he is saved, Spongebob learns from Mr. Krabs that he is closing down the Krusty Krab to keep Plankton from trying to steal the formula again, and Spongebob sobs and questions where he’s going to work next. Following this, Squidward announces he is opening up an art museum and Sandy announces she is opening a science museum. Spongebob and Patrick hatch a plan to make a new Bikini Bottom Museum, featuring exhibits with Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, Karen, Sandy’s science projects, Squidward’s art, Patrick’s glove world memorial, Spongebob’s bubble blowing techniques and jellyfishing lessons, the Flying Dutchman’s tales of the dead, and Pearl’s mall tips. Mr Krabs decides to include the Krusty Krab as a secret food place underneath the museum, and Plankton also decides to be good and join in with Sandy, presenting his science projects. At the very end, a brand new kid, looking like spongebob, walks in and asks for a job application with his best friend, looking like Patrick
Squidward is actually my favorite character, because the older you get the more Squidwards you realize exist in real life. He's a symbol of a character that signifies the death of child in us all and the birth of the drab, pessimistic, scheming, working adult-drone.

What I’m trying to say is that in “Demolition Doofus”, you can at least understand why and perhaps even sympathize with Mrs. Puff for wanting to kill Spongebob after he permanently injured her after ignoring her pleas for him to stop (even going so far as to openly acknowledge himself that “one more crash like that and you would’ve popped for sure”) and then have the audacity of trying to make light of the situation and continuing to ignore/remain oblivious of her complete hatred of him. By no means does this actually make what Mrs. Puff is trying to do right or even make her the “good guy”, but you can at least know she has a legitimate reason for wanting to see our favorite, plucky yellow sponge eat pavement.

the reasons why sqyidward hates spongebob is because when they do thier random sh*t, the make a bunch of noise(which he can fine them for disturbing the peace) and randomly coming into his house. They never leave him alone and annoy the hell out of him. Not leaving him alone was okay in "Are You Happy Now" because he just wanted to give him a happiest memory. Waaaaayyyyyy too much stuff is completly unjustified.

In "Demolition Doofus" (S08 E39), Mrs. Puff actually went THAT far that she wanted Spongebob DEAD.
That was the episode that made me hate her so fishing much.
I agree with you about that; think about when she enters his name into the demolition derby to kill him; I don't remember ever seeing her trying to save SpongeBob's life & have seen Squidward do that. I think the reason why SpongeBob SquarePants doesn't do well in her class is that he has too much responsibility or too much to worry about & take care of; for example: SpongeBob has to take care of Gary the snail, go jellyfishing with Patrick, doing karate & working on science with Sandy, working at the Krusty Krab, helping Mr. Krabs keep an eye out for Plankton, & more. I don't think Mrs. Puffs will ever see it that way, & because of all the bad stuff she does to SpongeBob to me makes her a villain.

I don't believe Squidward truly hates Spongebob, even though he says he does. Deep down inside, he truly cares about him. If he really did hate him, he wouldn't stand up for him from time to time. There was this one scene in Pizza Delivery he gives a customer a piece of his mind after making poor Spongebob cry. And another where he puts himself in danger to save him from getting hit by a truck.

There are times that Squidward shows he actually cares about Spongebob deep down.
I know one! In the episode "Graveyard shift" Spongebob and Squidward have to work at the Krusty Krab for 24 hours. While they are working one time, Squidward tells Spongebob a spooky story about a character called the Slash-slinging slasher (if I'm wrong, sorry). Then later that night, the light are flickering, while Squidward is blaming Spongebob for it. But Spongebob is telling Squidward it's not him. The story starts to get more creepy, until there is a bus outside the Krusty Krab. Then, In the shadows, Is the character from Squidward's story. Spongebob thinks that Squidward did something for him. Squidward said that he hates him and wouldn't do that. That's when They notice, from all the effects, that this character is real. They are terrified, thinking that it's the end. So they try to confess stuff to each other. One that I really smiled at hearing, was that Squidward always, sort of, liked him. I'm not going to spoil the end. That was one moment to fit in this category!

“Plankton’s Plan/Spongebob’s Last Shift”
Plankton hatches a plan to get the secret formula back by hiring Mrs Puff to purposely allow Spongebob to pass the driving test, and when Spongebob passes, Plankton uses a butterfly to chase Spongebob’s car down into Rock Bottom, where he is trapped. When they realize Spongebob is gone, Squidward, Mr Krabs, Patrick, Sandy, Gary, Pearl, The Flying Dutchman, Mrs Puff, Mermaid Man, Barnacle Boy and a backstabbing Karen hatch a plan to get back at Plankton and save Spongebob. When he is saved, Spongebob learns from Mr. Krabs that he is closing down the Krusty Krab to keep Plankton from trying to steal the formula again, and Spongebob sobs and questions where he’s going to work next. Following this, Squidward announces he is opening up an art museum and Sandy announces she is opening a science museum. Spongebob and Patrick hatch a plan to make a new Bikini Bottom Museum, featuring exhibits with Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, Karen, Sandy’s science projects, Squidward’s art, Patrick’s glove world memorial, Spongebob’s bubble blowing techniques and jellyfishing lessons, the Flying Dutchman’s tales of the dead, and Pearl’s mall tips. Mr Krabs decides to include the Krusty Krab as a secret food place underneath the museum, and Plankton also decides to be good and join in with Sandy, presenting his science projects. At the very end, a brand new kid, looking like spongebob, walks in and asks for a job application with his best friend, looking like Patrick
