Who says your place needs to be ready for use at night when vacant, locked and slippery warnings posted? Cleaning fluids do a better job loosing grime when allowed to be present on their applied surface for long periods of time. If someone wants to use the foor that's being cleaned, they can finish the job.

Can't quickly run, forcefully throw punches or objects, can't put your weight into damaging anything. Pushing a shopping cart on a slippery floor is a don't go anywhere proposition.
