Play drums in VR without bothering the neighbors 🤘
Mixing elements from rhythm games and simulators, Paradiddle provides a
realistic, fun and convenient way to learn how to play the drums in VR. No
need to buy expensive equipment or lessons, worry about making noise, or
have a dedicated physical space.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED THANK YOUU
Great tutorial ❤️
Hey team Paradiddle,
I've reached out a few times to your team with no response. I have the first Oculus Quest. I've purchased the pedals you recommended and the USB-C hub. I've been trying for weeks to get it to work with no luck. I've followed all your instructions and suggestions by others. The pedals work as I'm able to test them with my MacBook. I see that you haven't responded to comments on your videos, so I'm not sure what to expect. But I will say that I'm pretty upset that I spent money on these pedals and hub for the explicit purpose of using them with your app and right now they're basically paperweights.
So I kind of found a workaround, at least for the quest 3. If I plugged in my pc keyboard to a usb hub then connected the usb hub to the quest it would recognize the keyboard and use the space bar as a pedal. But if you also connect the usb pedal to the hub (with the keyboard also plugged in) it for some reason works. Kind of an inconvenience to have something extra connected but I though maybe it would help your situation.
@@GardnerFamilyVentures thank you so much for that tip. I will try it out. At this point I've pretty much given up and I would advise everyone to steer clear of Paradiddle.
Any tips for shortening standalone version latency using usb midi functions? Or is it what it is?
Nice! Will this work with the Pico 4 (standalone game vsn)?
I am having problems with my usb pedals. For example, when I set up a pedal on the computer by assigning it to "space", it works. But somehow, when I hook it up to the VR and put on Paradiddle, it doesn't work. However, the pedal works when I selected a search bar outside of Paradiddle. I have an Oculus 1. What is up with my pedals.
Can you set this up for a lefty player? I can put the drums where i need them but the screen is always for right handed. I'm new to the game so i have no idea how it works yet lol.
Hi ,should the paddle connect to headset by the usb adater or just computer usb?why must setting program , i'm so confused.😢
Hola tengo las meta tres es obligatorio el PC para configurar o se puede hacer con la meta tres
is there any analog pedal that would work exactly as trigger does? or ot doesn't matter how hard you press it?
do u have another update planned?
Has anyone tried ones selling as a triple USB pedal? It's through a single USB connector. And I would buy the USB to usb-c adaptor.
How you said in the video you played with a keyboard. How did you get that to work, through the pc
If you’re still curious I am pretty sure you just are meant to plug in the keyboard (or connect via Bluetooth) to the headset or computer the game is running on, then it should just work by pressing space (or whatever keys are bound)
could u do this but with rockband pedals pls :)
My rockband pedal has to be plugged in to pc through whole rockband set, but it works.
I don't know how to make it work using direct jack connection :/
No.
@@jorisbonson386 yes it can some extra easy audio setup on your pc is required

@@thevrdrummer666 The question was can the OP redo the video with Rockband pedals.
If I am too lazy to buy them are there any options in the game as an alternative? 😅
Old comment but you can just use the triggers or buttons on your controllers to trigger the HH and Kick
I bought the game, as a drummer it was infuriating trying to do bass drum on controller. I ordered the recommended foot switches... hopefully that is enough because the other issue is timing.. on the Quest 3 you have to rush it seems to stay on timing. Maybe I can learn to get over the latency if I am not also trying to get the bass drum via hand down. Tracking is pretty mehh so far on Quest 3 as well.. I cannot actually do a paradiddle at a decent speed or it just mushes things and misses hits or gets off timing (possibly latency related too).
As a noob, the directions when you start your first song are confusing "click to start" I was looking for a button to start and even tried clicking my sticks... its obvious now that Ive done it once... but jeesh that was no intuitive.
Ill try and report in after my pedals come.
Are you talking about the standalone edition of Quest 3 that just came out or you were playing PCVR and streaming it to your Quest 3?
If anyone could help me set up a rock band pedal it would be greatly appreciated
man there is no usb pedals in my country what can i do?
