God bless you. What an incredible story. Thankyou for sharing it.
Keep sharing his and your story! ❤
Thank you for sharing your wonderful story. I was in a relationship from 1977 to 2017 until the loss of my love. We were spared AIDS all through the years we were together. We always knew we were lucky. I was fortunate to be with the one I chose for 40 years. We were both monogamous and never did drugs. We both had friends that died from AIDS. We went to the fundraisers. We gave our time and our money. I was a founding advocate and contributor to the "Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation". We went to memorials and funerals. I am so sorry for your loss. Everyone should be as fortunate as we were, but that's not life. Now at 78, I look back and remember how we were all treated when this disease reared it's ugly head. I will always be proud of us and our community. When one of us hurts, we all feel the pain. God bless you and all your efforts. You are a loving person and you have been loved. 💙🙏
That's an amazing legacy! Thank you very much for sharing. Would've loved to interview you. I really would!

I'm sorry for you loss! I'm 63,and lived through the 1980's/1990's.I only lost 3 friends. In Northern California, I worked at a small Rural Hospital. IN 7 yrs. working there we lost 6 men to AIDS complications. It was sad and heartbreaking.
Alex, if you ever travelled to Los Angeles area, I'd be more than happy to capture some of your experiences. Thanks a lot for sharing!
Thank you. i do have a cousin and family who live in Thousand Oaks ,I would love to visit them again. I also lived in San Diego from 1988-1992,and lost 1 friend there and another after he moved away. San Diego had a wonderful and thriving LGBTQAI+ neighborhood called Hillcrest. @@lgbtqarchives
