There are many villages elsewhere in India as well who faces these situation too. From last 50 years there is govt of only two families in J & K. There are many villages in Kashmir which got electricity in very first time after the central govt took the responsibility of Kashmir. Now you will see improvement in near future. More than 200 project is under construction in Kashmir.

Mountainous regions do not have good network coverage due to uneven topology. Signals from towers can not work very well due to such topology. In order to cover better coverage, one would need large number of towers to cover the same area as compared to plain topology. So it becomes extremely expensive affair to provide good coverage in mountains . This is the same problem throughout the world and not unique to Kashmir.

In Odisha we were covering Six km by foot to reach our school.There was nothing new in it.I was expecting these people will not show positive things and my expection came true.
Foreign people do not want to talk about Kashmir. This is my country we know. We know what to do in Kashmir. The people of Kashmir are happy now.
Signal and road infrastructure is a problem in many states across the country. But the government is reaching there soon.
This problem is not only in Kashmir. Many states are facing the same problems in India.

It will take tons of hard work for the government to improve the situation in this state, government must focus on building as many educational institutes, schools, colleges, sincere efforts from the Govt is critically required, in all parts of the country, there are so many such places where citizens don't have access to basic Facilities. I hope government will be mature enough to take cognizance of this and will take corrective measure.
The reason of poor network currently is because of lack of network towers on mountain areas and other reasons also.

Lallantop has made an excellent efforts in making this. Seen kashmir in 1992, 2003 n 2014. Lot of positive progress in the remote parts of the mountain State. Viewes must realise it's not jammu or stinagar or udhampur or poonch but remote village in a mountain State.

Only criticism in video shows the intent of repoter, why can't he show the good things or show both?? Each and every state has backward areas that doesn't mean that the whole state is same. Improvements are happening. The backwardness is not going to live long. Atleast on our side, we have plans in place and in coming years you will see drastic changes like good rail connectivity and communication
There is such a problem inside the Wildlife Sanctuary in India. Children of our village in Chhattisgarh also go 3 km to study. .
