Bro I literally start my mock exams tommorow tysm for this vid 😭
You're welcome!
How was it
@@dylanching2356 not bad! I got like 50% in both language and literature, it might not sound like much but it's pretty rare for me to reach 50% in anything so at least I improved lolol ^^
Miss then what can we write about those? Like what are the effects of those?
Exactly what I was thinking
You'd have to analyse the actual words within the technique rather than the technique in general. For example, if you analyse the simile "the girl's lip were like blood" this could show the writer's negative viewpoint about the girl, rather than if the writer were to write "the girl's lips were like roses" which would be positive. Even though both similes imply the girl's lips were red, the use of language within the technique shows the writer's viewpoint and gets you the marks.
@@oliviaprosser5105 very helpful thanks
Hi Mrs, what is a ballad, a sonnet and a blank verse and quatrains. Thanks so much.
Will these come up in A level unseen poetry aswell?
BTW all of those techniques will "always bang on come in" 😂

Plosives! great video. Big bear isnt allit it is Plosives
It’s a type of alliteration, but plosive isn’t the correct subject terminology
can you give examples of why the poet used a certain technique like why did the poet use enjambment?
Creates a sense of freedom, chaos, connection/community, could be like flowing water - you kind of just adapt it to the theme of the question, but in general it suggests a lack of order or containment.
My mum said if i fail my tests she’s gonna destroy my ps5 !😢
