I used to cruise through Crash Team Racing levels with this playing on Radio Disney back in 2000. Took me 12 years to find this song again, and I'm back once more to listen again.
lol I went to Elementary School in Los Angeles in the early 2000s and somebody left this cd without the jewel case on the benches in our playground and I took it home. I was cleaning out my room and I found this today. I never knew they were this young though. lol.
In this video (2000) they are in those ages, they started in 1998 in finnish, they signed recording contract (1999) when half of them were 13yo, and they quit the band when they were little bit over twenty :)

Actually they broke up. Emppu went on to form a rock band called Dame. Petra is in a band called Kanada. Nea (pianist) is working (don't know on what.) And the other three girls are studying.

That class manages to perform the song somehow sadly, where the song is about being with friends. The drums-bass-guitar cooperation is totally lacking.
i read some critic say tiktak flopped in america. This is got be wrong,maybe not understand finland or represented enough happen. i bought tiktak single in virgin records by sixth sense cause i did not know were finnish until put in my cd player. Virgin Records was best store ever in usa and closed. It was 1999 that i found their single, fast,same year tiktak were biggest hit. For me being finnish it meant everything.

They are unfortunately just so not rock in their 'Desperate Houswives' clothes. I think they were like 14-15 years when they started in 1999 (?), but I think they started performing in English much later. I'm pretty sure they are elder in the video than what the intro says.

Normally, I don't like "Poppy" music but I love Tik Tak. In English or in their native language they're awesome. That Nea girl is extremley pretty!
