On October 3rd, 2017, my fiance had a stroke and we were planning our wedding. I was there with him so I saved his life. On October 21st, I left the rehab hospital and he was recovering. He had a tracheotomy perform and he still had the tube in him. At midnight, I received a call from the doctor telling me that his tube came out and he was without oxygen for hours before he was discovered, and at 12:55 am, he was pronounced dead. And our planned wedding date was October 28th. I question God why? I haven't questioned so much now but every now and then that question will pop in my head. I've started therapy because of other demons that had resurfaced after my fiance died and the grief, not to mentioned that I lost my daddy a year before. Grief is real and this journey that Vanessa Bryant and other family members that had lost their loved ones in that crash are gonna be a VERY, VERY tough. And honestly, it's something that you can't move forward from that easily. You don't know how strong you are until being strong is the choice that you have to be.

The pain hurts today like it just happened because mylove for my daddy was that great. My parents roles we reversed; my mama was the worker bee whereas my daddy was the stay at home parent and did all of the nurturing for me and my siblings. I do not question any of Gods doing but I never want that feeling to go away because that is all I have to show my daddy he was, is and will always be loved. As a Potters House Dallas member of 24 years, I love how Bishop Jakes tells the truth about real-life issues about faith and mental health to not confuse it with spiritual warfare. Bishop does not twist the word of God from what it means. Gods word is what it is and it has to embody and manifest itself within each believers heart.

T D Jakes helped me through difficult time after I lost my fiance in an accident. He was a military man who gave all to his country. I was in shock and heartbroken for many years. To help me get through a very dark part of my life, I read every book of his that I could get my hands on. I was a college student, and I have very little money. I would go into the store like Borders, and read the books with out creasing pages. This man has great Wisdom.
I must confess. Bishop Jake's, doesn't know it, but he's been my mentor for years. He's inspired and encouraged me through so many different moments in my life. I'm praying for his ministry and family.

Reader, somethings will never be explained. The pain we have to endure sometimes does not give us an explanation. We just have to go on and rely on the One who makes no mistakes...give him our pain knowing His Son was "A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief" and at times, that even seems like no consolation. Only God knows and this is a big one...What about the pain we cause others? We need to face that! That's just as real as any tragedy we encounter.

I say this because when you lose someone that you're one with, you can literally experience the separating of the souls that were joined together as one become two again.
