He came up in freight culture, making a name for himself within graffiti among one of the most highly respected crews to do it in the freight scene: YME. He attributes his friends and crew mates as the biggest inspirations for his style of painting. I met Jurne in Maine initially and he was mad supportive and encouraging and then again in Oakland a few years ago. Proud to see a New England boy staying on track with what he believes in. Big respect.
Being kid in Maine, and seeing him up all over.. Then traveling and seeing him up all over the Bay.. It made me SO Freakin' Happy!!!

Always wanted to see "Jurne's House" in Oakland....never got to witness it but I heard stories. I love this dudes art he's fantastic
bigup Jurne! met you briefly when i was a teen while you were painting a mural as i worked the food truck nearby. Always remembered this super nice cat, the types of people who have kept me stoked on art as an adult.
