- This week I'm joined by author and trainer Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, who shared about the effects of violence in our society and the psychology of killing. This fascinating discussion makes for quite a heavy episode, but the information is so important. We dive into why we do certain things and how we can move, through understanding the darkness, into the light. After visiting places like Auschwitz and The Killing Fields, I understand why we need to learn how to ensure these things never happen again.

It's fascinating to see how close darkness and kindness can cohabit within a human being and among human communities. Dave Grossman is so right when he says that we need to learn how to face our own and others' darkness, learn everything about it in order to learn how to control it. I've experienced it before and I still experience it at different levels. It's a main issue in our lives and we can't walk through life without even thinking or talk about about it. Do we really deal with ? That's another matter. Anyway... These days two men have made my day. I'll come back for more with and about those guys. Thanks.
