This is why lots of folks think they can't eat gluten, I'm one of them. There should be a massive class action lawsuit.
Celiac disease? . Gluten allergies are a bi product of processing the wheat before its fully matured.
Very interesting how the EPA is supposedly "considering" whether to make it legal for domestic use, yet last year it was found in 80% of people that were tested for it, who were getting constant exposure (meaning it's in the majority of wheat/flour products). Gotta' love the honesty and transparency of Federal bureaucracy.
It's the corporate lobbyists who write the policies for all those government agencies.
It has not been proven that the substance affects humans in the same way the studies cited by the EWG found it does lab animals, and there are other studies that have found chlormequat had no effect on reproduction in pigs or mice, or any impact on fertilization rates in mice.
Chlormequat has not been approved for use on food crops grown in the U.S., according to the EWG, but it can be found in oats and oat products from other countries. Under the Trump administration, the Environmental Protection Agency started allowing imports of such products into the U.S., the EWG noted, which is why chlormequat can be found in some cereals sold in this country.
@@Tad-zh4wr I like how you attempted to delegitimize concerns; that somehow, because it has only been tested on animals, it's somehow unreasonable to suspect it would be harmful to humans. And, then, masterfully saying "well... Trump allowed products sprayed with it, into the country!", as though every administration isn't picking through shortlists of highly corrupt executive branch heads, like the EPA and FDA. How's the current admin working to prohibit the chemical and food products contaminated with this poison, absolutely? I'm sure you're a thoughtfully concerned but open-minded citizen, and not a corporate shill, in the slightest.
interesting information@@Tad-zh4wr
Just another reason not to eat this crap. I quit eating a long time ago. Sad to see it's also in oatmeal
Pretty hard when this and pesticides are in so many foods !
Oh and not including the meal worms protein they don't even have to put it on the label anymore.😮
What the hell are we supposed eat everything has something in it that don't belong
EPA and the Government sucks
Both owned by multinational corporations.
Wow, not allowed to be used here but allowed to be in products sold and consumed here???? Wtf😮
Don't forget about glyphosate. Glyphosate is in regular wheat products ( not organic) from the USA. It's in Roundup - a weed killer. It's sprayed on a wheat field before harvesting. It makes the wheat dry up so it makes for smooth harvesting. It doesn't wash off. I haven't consumed in a long time... the last time, I got extremely sick ... excruciating cramps and other digestive issues.
Yup, I was thought to be celiac because of glyphosate.
Oh contrary it's in organic too ,they used so much glyphosate its in the soil
I wondered why eating oats, when i was growing up, made me feel bad.....lesson learnt.
They started using it in 2017. Are you still growing up?
My daughter is teaching overseas, left a box of Honey Cheerios on the fridge. I ate a bowl this afternoon and by evening have a bad stomach ache- threw up. I wondered if it was my dinner, then this video pops up in my recommendations. Needless to say, am throwing the box away!
if its not labeled organic don''t eat it.....organic bar code number on organic produce starts with the number 9
Wish I could say I am surprised. I can only say none of my family will be impacted since we've not purchased/eaten these commercial products for the last for decades.
Very good
There's also a chemical called tri sodium phosphate in all cereals that have marshmallow in it
Trisodium phosphate =TPS= sickness and depression and death ☠️
step 5 of controling the population
Why are we importing oats
It might be cheaper because they are using banned chemicals to increase yield.
This is why you buy organic oats granola bars cereals chips etc. You can skip on some veggies but buying organic is very important in processed foods.

NOPE! ITS BEEN FOUND IN SEVERAL ORGANIC PRODUCTS TOO!
Someone in the replies to a video on EWG's channel called : Chlormequat: A Dangerous New Pesticide Now in People and the U.S. Food Supply - mentioned there's some article that said 7 of the Organic products tested *did* contain chlormequat! I assume the article the commenter was referring to was written by EWG (Environmental Working Group)
Chlormequat must be a first cousin of the old grand daddy pesticide paraquat ? - NASTY NASTY
It's not the only known poison in food cleared by the FDA for use in food. TSP, look into it and how many cereals use it.
Its been in there since thew 1950ies. Glad you just found out
They stand behind it , they gurantee it.
Makes me wonder if they eat it? Bet they don't...
Ironically Chinese companies are buying grain elevators...
@krissifaith6709
All large countries have grain elevators. 🤷🏻♀️
I'm a fan of Quaker Oats. This is part of my breakfast since I was a kid. I always buy the jumbo size for my pantry. I experience chronic diarrhea but didn't suspect Quacker Oats to be the culprit. Now, what's next ?
Is it in the organic oats too?
Yep
No it isn't

The study found it in 10% of the organic oats.
What other cereal is it in ?
You can thank Chief Justice John Roberts and Citizens United. Corporations can literally buy lawmakers with unlimited amounts of money (money= speech).
These people also control the regulatory agencies that are supposed to protect the citizens of this country. No more.
"Of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations.
There s/b a cap on the amount of a donation that can be accepted by any one recipient from any one person and/or organization.
Everyone I know eating oatmeal for breakfast is always sick. So yes, I see now why.
Sounds like something my friends and I would call each other back in High school.
Thank you.
This is very nice story to shring human being. Congratulations.
It makes no sense to ban domestic use of a compound but allow imports that use the banned compound. EPA needs to get their act together and start protecting consumers and the environment.
What about grass that cattle graze on? If its in the grass, it will be in use, multiplied in concentration as well..

Please people. Do not eat anything in a box, package or can. Processed foods kill. Eat Whole Foods.
If its in that its in all bread products. Buy nothing from outside the country. Buy nothing from foreign owned corporations.
These crops are imported then made into cereals and snack bars. Canada allows chlormequat, and we, the U.S. food companies, buy from Canada. Yet it's banned for use in the U.S. You can't make this stuff up.
NO ! Grow all food yourself it's the only way to be safe ✌
Prepared and packaged in the safest way possible sounds like spin they're describing the processing facility instead of the fields. We follow all regulations, especially the ones we have our lobbyists push through regulatory agencies and congress.
I had a bad tomato ,bug infestation
But some I put some cherrios dust around them and the bugs are gone
Why are they hiding these stories 😮
Nothing new. Been in it for many years now.
laws have been passed since obama administration where they can put more in it than years ago.
And what do almost all parents give their infants as a snack.... Cheerios
The response.... Total bull shit as usual. Its all about fucking money for these companies.
Cheerios have always been awful. Remember in the 90s when they put aluminum in Cheerios. If you continued trusting Quaker Oats after that happened, it’s on you. Don’t eat government subsidized food like Cheerios, choose actual free market organic brands.
Who in their right mind considers or even eats that crap?...its more nutritious to eat the Box it comes in!!
Does it cause spelling mistakes? 😐
OMG
We are making more and more sacrifices in the name of over-population .
I would guess the sugar is more toxic than the bit of chlormequat, it's used here in Europe without problems and it seems nobody invented something safer to produce enough grain etc., but war is more important to pump the money into
Quaker oats is going down now. I hope they are sued over this big time. Liars.
Lowl yeah right like that's gona happen
@@RebelsInc969 they are showing a loss already over the recall

Luckily you can trust me too
Take your best shot FDA & EPA. I already survived your trans-fats.
Could this lead to a possible explanation for the strange behaviour of various people such as Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Jared Bernstein, Karine Jean-Pierre, Justin Trudeau , and Chrystia Freeland? It would explain so much. 🤔😏
None of them eat the shit we are subjected too ✌
Quaker Guy got botox?

Gotta love Capitalism

And 'big food' lobbyists
Communists would just bring about artificial famines (Holodomor) to control populations, instead.
