Update! I took these locs out after a week, they were far too heavy. I would advise that if you have locs you don’t use more than 3 packs of hair TOTAL! And the wrapping method was a MISSION to take down so if you can, try the cornrow method!

This is cute! I’ve never used added hair on my loose natural hair. My natural hair is tailbone length when stretched and I can’t imagine having more hair on my head lol I admire your willingness to try.

I've been loc'ed a year. I was tender-headed before and now I am super duper tender-headed. I love my microlocs so much though. I said I would try large twists with extensions for my birthday so we will see how it goes.

They look beautiful! I want to try this but I know I don’t have the strength 🥹 The tender scalp after having microlocs things is so real and this looks like pain to me.
Honestly the individual method didn't hurt at all. They're so comfortable.
