Ramsdale has been good so far, but u gotta admit, emi would have been the best choice based on his performances the past 2 seasons. Best keeper in the league imo along side mendy and schmeichel. No disrespect towards ederson and alisson, but they do play for better teams and they are much better with the ball at their feet compared to their shotstopping ability. If clean sheets weren't associated with goalkeepers rather than with the defense as well, people would understand for a goalkeeper, shotstopping ability>distribution even though one of those traits have become more important in the modern era of football
As Arsenal fan, I think he really love Arsenal club his loyalty for years something couldnt be ignored. However when Arsenal decided to sell him, I know he feel betrayed. He is a very amazing goalkeeper, it took years for him to reach that level. But Im glad too so he could play day in day out while Ramsdale briliantly outstanding, he is the modern football goalkeeper. Professionally I think Arsenal did the right thing.
