- Pretty much just a zoom out of Remix 10.
I could've done this years earlier but there was a problem that the command I had used to make it zoom out would only work on the first game, then I would have to add it for each and every game. And that's not ideal. Then I realized changing one atribute makes the zoom out persist for the whole game. And here we are. - Hry

That is a thing that was supposed to be visible, but they never used it. The camera pulls to the right revealing the empolyee's face if you recall. There's an unused function that makes it go to the left instead, revealing that spider with the candy.
i like to imagine that spider is the one throwing things

I love seeing zoom outs of games bc you get a notion of just how many assets were made and how did they code some specific shit.
from the 3d clouds to the rocks in the river, they're all things that were there or it wouldn't work and that brought a nice wheeze out of me

It makes all of the games look like their on a soundstage in front of a green screen
By the way, Rythm Heaven Fever used 2D sprites but puts them in a 3D enviroment.

It's kinda visible in the original when it zooms out and the "pose for the fans" voice cue comes up

i gotta know, do you play on emulator or console? because my dolphin emulator has been lagging like this and it’s gotten so bad it’s unplayable

I wonder why the texture file for the crowd in exhibition match is so wide if it doesn't even show up entirely when zoomed in.
Likely so they wouldn't have to load them in for the small moment it zooms way out

Because the zoom effect doesn't apply to the speech bubbles (same with the background in night walk and subtitles in cheer readers)
