Just played it and. I don't even know if its "Horror" anymore. Rather Psychological Horror. No monsters ghost whatsoever. Not even an NPC. Just an bug and you. While Sam is describing his journey it makes you felt like you want to go there and see it with your eyes. But in the end. We didn't even managed to see anybody. Are you sad? Perhaps disappointed? But you have to realize in the end you've made it out of the prison. Sam succeeded in helping you even though he didn't made it. And when Elizabeth played the music we heard it. Sam too. It gives us a little hope that Sam is near but in the end. Yeah.
Can’t forget how smiles-friend literally had sold a whole organ and spent all his money on gifts to make us happy. He gave us hope that we could escape. Rip smiles-friend
And the saddest thing is that both endings are actually bad. In both the world is doomed. Just in one you die, and in other you live, yet with knowing that everybody who were close to you in one way or another - have died. (P.S. ngl would be cool if we saw a continuation, but I guess the story better be untold)
I think the 2nd one in a way is better, since the PC managed to escape. It's still bleak but retains some hope, as PC can possibly make it out of the town and attempt to travel on their own, surviving.

The exploitation of “Smile Friend” made me so sad. He had to sacrifice everything to a person he doesn’t know in hopes that it would extend beyond the player and bring his kiddos home. Couldn’t imagine the feelings he felt. End of the world and he couldn’t protect and hold his children.

I just played it actually, i was shocked with the storyline. On day 3 i was like "Oh this is actually a nice game the story is well made" but by day 5 thats when my jaw dropped because of the horrors it revealed.. I wasnt sure with how i felt because i got the Elizabeth ending but watching this was probably the worst feeling ive gotten from a roblox game..
i might be over analyzing but i think the posters and the objects given to you in the cell have a meaning the bear; maybe something related to smile friend’s daughters or that false, weird feeling of comfort you have in the cell the smile poster; fake happiness the eye painting elizabeth gave; being watched (smile friend said that “they were watching” in one of the letters) the money poster; greed the rug and the soccer ball; wastefulness (idk anymore i just thought of that since mr money is “wasting” the lives of innocent people and smile friend gave up all his money and himself for the things) the cake and the table; something for eachother (maybe things would have been different if sam and elizabeth met) i also noticed that mr money said “you are worth every penny” in one of the letters before we know about his true intentions, but to me, i already knew that he was using us for organs bcs you know, **you are worth every penny** sounds like something with two meanings
when i played the game through for my first time (and only time), that last “I’m sorry.” broke my heart. It really is amazing how well you can build characters while confined in a space where you cant even see or talk back to the person you are talking to.

you really have to think about the fact that if elizabeth decided that it was worth it to play the music one more time, sam would have found her, and elizabeth perhaps would have waited longer for you, or perhaps they would have ventured to the prison together and either have both died and gotten electrocuted, only one would, or both would live and would have found a better way together

Why didn't the protagonist just tear the letters off previous notes and uses it to communicate to Elizabeth or someone by throwing it through the window bar or just hand it down to whoever slide the letter under the door and ask to send it to whoever.
Also smile friend or Mr. Smiley (from the original game Presentable Liberty) is just sad. A sad person cannot make a person happy or happier. They might can but just for a while before they themself lost. Smile is just a dad who wants to see his daughter. Mr. Money is just consumed by greed and wealth but in the end everyone is gone
I think eventually Mr. Money will die same as his workers. Since I'd assume the infected had already speeded the virus. Why even bother selling your organs when there's no one left to buy them

I watched Markiplier’s playthrough of the original game I think, Presentable Liberty. The developer of the original game killed himself which is depressing. He made a great game though, makes you feel hopeless not being able to communicate, only listen.
His cockroach left him, his girlfriend suicided because she was tired waiting for him, his best friend died trying to save him, his "smile" friend died trying to cheer up him, and he couldn't saved them because he was locked in prison, ...

A. 1:It's stated in the game, Mr. Money started and created the virus. 2: Mr Money: His only personality trait is in his name- money. He is just cartoonishly evil with no other goal than to make money. Every single one of the actions we see him take in the story and in the game itself has just 1 goal- money. Sam: An adventerous spirit, a very good friend to the player, and just all around a nice and moral guy. Even when he wasn't sure if us (the player) is even alive, he still continued sending us letters and even risked his life to break us out of prison. Elizabeth: A lonely woman seeking any sort of company in an isolated enviorment. A person seeking to be saved and barely haning on to life by trying to message us. Sadly, we cannot respond to her pleas of help and she ultimately succumbs to her loneliness. Smile-friend: A dad doing anything to save his daughters. He is trying his best to make you happy so that he can save his daughters, but how can someone who is sad make people happy? Finally, once he loses his daughters and is left with nothing, he decides to give his everything to the only other person close to him- the player. 3: Mr. Money just chose a few random people to be immune to the virus so that he can sell their organs. You, the player, just control one of them. 4:The antidote was purposefully made to be faulty and cause organ failure, so that Mr. Money can sell organs to those who bought his antidote. 5:Some fictional unnamed country. Not really integral to the story and what its trying to portray so thus it isnt really described. B: 1: It's in the name. For money. 2:He is too good for his own good. He wanted to save you and bc you didnt have a way to tell him not to, he could only go ahead and try. Also, due to him not being immune, he would have gotten the virus and died either way, so sadly he wouldnt be safe. 3:Probably intentionally broken by Mr. Money so that you can't just escape. 4: RIP
The elevator was altered to look like a prison cell, as told by Sam. Prison cells do not have buttons, so Mr. Money ripped it off to prevent ideas, and keep the player feeling safe and knowing in a distorted reality.
Honestly, I just really don't get this game. The only thing I really liked about this was the twist with everyone dying. In the description it says that you're "tasked with a great decision" so throught the game I thought the decision was saving either Sam, Elizabeth, or Smile-friend. The fact you are powerless and can only watch as each of them dies was actually surprising. Other than that, the game was just meh. The story is really shoddy. Some evil guy creates virus, sells faulty antidote that causes organ failure, jails up some immune people so that he can sell their organs and that's about it. Mr. Money is just cartoonishly evil- I'm not saying that "evil for the sake of evil" characters are inherently bad, but they are very very hard to execute. And Mr. Money just didn't work as an interesting antagonist. The gameplay mechanic was boring as well- it was just reading letters and waiting for other letters to come. It's basically just a visual novel. And the thing with visual noves is, the lack of gameplay has to be rectified with an interesting narrative, which this game just didn't provide. The medium through which we got to learn about the characters- reading their letters- worked well to invoke feelings of loneliness and isolation, but due to the indirect form of conversation, it made it very hard for me to feel attatched to the characters. Which made their deaths just surprising, but not really all that tragic. The "2" endings are also very lackluster. On one side, we have you escaping and finding Elizabeth's last letter with blood all around. You are now all alone in a ghost city with everyone you know dead. Not a bad ending exactly, just didn't really have the "oomph" of a climax. As for the other ending, ugh. "Hahaha I am Mr Money you imbecile why would you choose this ending now I will kill you and sell your organs. You died. The End". I am not saying the game was bad, I get how people are liking it, but at the end of the game the only thing I could think about was "That's it?"
I swear, when I saw the note of Elizabeth with the blood on it, I was so fueled of hatred I wanted to bust the door down and catch hands with Mr. Money for ruining everyones lives
this is probably the first psychological horror game i played on roblox, the days passed and i felt my heart tighten because the experience made me soo anxious. 9/10. a little glitchy but great overall.
I thought it was a plato's cave situation, so at the end I chose to leave the prison. Despite everything I think that's still the good ending, because even if your friends are dead, their sacrifices did not go to waste.
I think back in 2019 where i first found the game inspired by noted reality (aka presentable liberty) ever since i watch markiplier play it i looked at the world a different way and always wondered what was that game that i watched with markiplier and finally after 3 years of wondering that question i finally found the game on my roblox recommended and this is giving me nostalgia😂 Edit: thanks roblox i can now watch that exact video and the horrors i felt when i thought i was going to get jump scared

Smile friend sold his organs just to buy me a soccer ball. Elizabeth make me a cake then she decided to die cuz of lonely i wish i can escape faster to stay with her. Sam talked with me everyday since i played the game and he died just to free me .I wish the game let me escape faster to stay with them

Mr Money: His only personality trait is in his name- money. He is just cartoonishly evil with no other goal than to make money. Every single one of the actions we see him take in the story and in the game itself has just 1 goal- money.
Sam: An adventerous spirit, a very good friend to the player, and just all around a nice and moral guy. Even when he wasn't sure if us (the player) is even alive, he still continued sending us letters and even risked his life to break us out of prison.
Elizabeth: A lonely woman seeking any sort of company in an isolated enviorment. A person seeking to be saved and barely haning on to life by trying to message us. Sadly, we cannot respond to her pleas of help and she ultimately succumbs to her loneliness.
Smile-friend: A dad doing anything to save his daughters. He is trying his best to make you happy so that he can save his daughters, but how can someone who is sad make people happy? Finally, once he loses his daughters and is left with nothing, he decides to give his everything to the only other person close to him- the player.
3: Mr. Money just chose a few random people to be immune to the virus so that he can sell their organs. You, the player, just control one of them.
4:The antidote was purposefully made to be faulty and cause organ failure, so that Mr. Money can sell organs to those who bought his antidote.
5:Some fictional unnamed country. Not really integral to the story and what its trying to portray so thus it isnt really described.

2:He is too good for his own good. He wanted to save you and bc you didnt have a way to tell him not to, he could only go ahead and try. Also, due to him not being immune, he would have gotten the virus and died either way, so sadly he wouldnt be safe.
3:Probably intentionally broken by Mr. Money so that you can't just escape.
4: RIP
The elevator was altered to look like a prison cell, as told by Sam. Prison cells do not have buttons, so Mr. Money ripped it off to prevent ideas, and keep the player feeling safe and knowing in a distorted reality.

Honestly, I just really don't get this game. The only thing I really liked about this was the twist with everyone dying. In the description it says that you're "tasked with a great decision" so throught the game I thought the decision was saving either Sam, Elizabeth, or Smile-friend. The fact you are powerless and can only watch as each of them dies was actually surprising. Other than that, the game was just meh. The story is really shoddy. Some evil guy creates virus, sells faulty antidote that causes organ failure, jails up some immune people so that he can sell their organs and that's about it. Mr. Money is just cartoonishly evil- I'm not saying that "evil for the sake of evil" characters are inherently bad, but they are very very hard to execute. And Mr. Money just didn't work as an interesting antagonist. The gameplay mechanic was boring as well- it was just reading letters and waiting for other letters to come. It's basically just a visual novel. And the thing with visual noves is, the lack of gameplay has to be rectified with an interesting narrative, which this game just didn't provide. The medium through which we got to learn about the characters- reading their letters- worked well to invoke feelings of loneliness and isolation, but due to the indirect form of conversation, it made it very hard for me to feel attatched to the characters. Which made their deaths just surprising, but not really all that tragic. The "2" endings are also very lackluster. On one side, we have you escaping and finding Elizabeth's last letter with blood all around. You are now all alone in a ghost city with everyone you know dead. Not a bad ending exactly, just didn't really have the "oomph" of a climax. As for the other ending, ugh. "Hahaha I am Mr Money you imbecile why would you choose this ending now I will kill you and sell your organs. You died. The End". I am not saying the game was bad, I get how people are liking it, but at the end of the game the only thing I could think about was "That's it?"

I swear, when I saw the note of Elizabeth with the blood on it, I was so fueled of hatred I wanted to bust the door down and catch hands with Mr. Money for ruining everyones lives
I just played it 1 minutes ago and it gave me depression and made me tear up I will remember the game even tho it might turn old
I leaved the game cuz i couldnt decide what to do and when Elizabeth and smile friend died it was depressing ASF

this is probably the first psychological horror game i played on roblox, the days passed and i felt my heart tighten because the experience made me soo anxious. 9/10. a little glitchy but great overall.
I thought it was a plato's cave situation, so at the end I chose to leave the prison. Despite everything I think that's still the good ending, because even if your friends are dead, their sacrifices did not go to waste.

I think back in 2019 where i first found the game inspired by noted reality (aka presentable liberty) ever since i watch markiplier play it i looked at the world a different way and always wondered what was that game that i watched with markiplier and finally after 3 years of wondering that question i finally found the game on my roblox recommended and this is giving me nostalgia😂

This game is probably the only game on roblox that actually made me a bit sad. The story is so simple yet so interesting, and im still wondering what could have happened. When i got Smile-Friends letter it was probably the saddest part for me. 17:18 Its like i was his only friend and i never even got to say anything to him, Goodbye Bug ( the cockroach ), Sam, smile friend and Elizabeth.

mr money tells u youre lucky to be chosen to be immune from the virus n mr money js wants ur organs bcos it goes for alot of money
then after a few days of rotting in your cell, someone knocks on the door and you bscially die, thats all.
basically, mr money writes to you saying that he chose to lock you in there because you're immune, and says that your organs are "worth every penny". it's then said that you spend time kicking your soccer ball, until after a few days, someone comes in.
and then, you die.

Smile friend sold his organs just to buy me a soccer ball. Elizabeth make me a cake then she decided to die cuz of lonely i wish i can escape faster to stay with her. Sam talked with me everyday since i played the game and he died just to free me .I wish the game let me escape faster to stay with them
