Thanks! My local BMW dealer quoted my friend $276 just to replace the belt!!! No mention of tensioner on the estimate.
I got quoted $353 for the job, also no mention of a tensioner

@@Hubjeep They were charging $180/hr labor and wanted 1.5hr labor for it.
I got a couple friends to help me change it and it took

thought you were supposed to change the tensioner too.... that makes no sense that you said you should, then you did not
