There's a nuttiness around DAC kits that speaks to people who have never had a chance to collect anything before and all of a sudden something appears that they can collect and compete with... The thing of sitting on 200 kits, of hiding purchases from your husband, using the word "devastated" when you don't get your 201st kit... This is not what mental health looks like. 😁 In the normal world people list and pay however they choose without judgement. Great video btw. You're a class act.
One more comment... I thought I had seen all the DAC kits from the past, but this one was totally new to me!

🎄 I would love to have the Halloween Haunted House that DAC sold before I knew about diamond painting. However, I'm too practical to spend a lot of money on one. I'll be content with awesome new releases.
My Unicorn kit is "Bringing Home The Tree" by McNeil Studio. I was not into diamond painting at the time and when I saw a video about it I fell in love with it. Makes me feel like a child again at home on the farm. Would pay for this and any shipping costs if somone is weilling to part with this kit. Good video Christianne.
The only discontinued kit I've bought on destash was "Christmas Eve Fly By." It's very traditional and charming. It's "folky."
Looking forward to watching when I get home from work and hearing your thoughts. Separately this was the only DAC I wanted but I began to feel it lost its' essence of light in the transition to dp. So glad to see you do it instead.
Saw a post this morning referring to someone lying in the ground next to a dp and how large was that one. Someone thought you were indicating the size by lying on the sidewalk on your face. 😂😂

I’m glad you did this video and I like your recommendations. This past week and a half I have been looking for Winter Queen. It was out of stock and archived on the website. I had seen that Mercari and ebay each had one. One was $120 and the other $140. I put an ISO in several groups and the very next day the prices on ebay and Mercari jumped to $200. Someone later sold one on Mercari for $60. Yesterday I found out you can now sign up for the notifications for the kit. Maybe they are bringing it back? Anyway the Mercari and ebay kits dropped back down to $120-125. Was that because no one purchased them or because it might come back to DAC? Either way this felt to me like someone saw an opportunity to raise the price just to make money.
Why do I always seem to fall in love with diamond art that is no longer available? I’ve only been doing this for a few months, I guess I’m late to the party huh?
So I did just buy a kit off macari for 80 dollars and after I paid for it I was on dac and I paid 20 more then it was selling for on there. ( it was out of stock). However I would not have gotten ot had I know it before hand. With that said no I would not pay an outrageous price for a kit. I really don't have a unicorn kit. I have a few I'm waiting on to come back into stock. 🍃 🌳 🍃 🌳.

Have you thought about using a light pad under your dp when I first tried it, it changed my life. 😂

My unicorns are A Wandering Daydream & Caturn 🪐 both by Julie Filipenko DAC. I can’t see myself ever paying $400 for a kit… woof!
My unicorn kit was mystery #10 by stanley morrison. When I saw what it was I just had to get it. Luckily someone was destashing for about $10 over retail + shipping which I was more than happy to do for a discontinued kit! It's my first mystery kit and I've been working on it this month and only have 1 row left! 🏔
hi, I think it is crazy the way people are stock piling these kits just to try and make money on them. I like watching your time laps videos. and I agree with you on how the pricing should be.🏔️
I 100% agree with your way of pricing. I also think people can price however they feel and a canvas is worth whatever someone will pay for it. My unicorn was The Fairest of Them All. I was lucky enough to find someone who wanted to trade for my Mad Kitty. It was a perfect exchange. That being said, I would have probably paid a lot for the one I wanted. ⛰️🌲🌿
