When doing Tree Braids with synthetic hair, it is a common occurrence to have the final installation of your hairstyle to look voluminous.

This hairstyle is perfect for natural hair simply because it is a protective hairstyle and this case your hair extensions can match the texture more closely to your natural hair (depending on the hair you used).
Tree Braids Hairstyles: Braided Headband, Milk Braids, Milk Twists, High Bun Hair Tutorial Part 6
You can also use bobby pins to secure your styles in place as you accessorize this protective hairstyle with extensions.
Tree Braids Hairstyle "Braided Headband": On both sides of your hairstyle, pinch a small amount of hair and braid very small individual braids, cross them in front of your forehead one at a time, and bobby pin each braid to the opposite side of your head.
Tree Braids Hairstyle "Braided High Bun": create a secure high ponytail with ponytail holders. Divide the ponytail into two, braid each section to the ends and secure with a hair tie. One braid at a time, wrap it around the base of the ponytail securing it with hair pins.
Tree Braids Hairstyle "Milk Braids" or "Milk Twists": Divide all of your hair down the middle into two large sections and each section will be tied in two low ponytails, close towards the center nape of your head. Two strand twist (or rope twist) each section and secure the ends with a hair tie. Cross both twists across the back and at the top of your head, secure with hair pins.

hi -I watched your perimeter crotchet kink twists and like your technique, are you able to use same technique for senegalese twists? If so, can you demonstrate?
its easier to put hair in hot water ( just boiled) to get a bone straight look than to blow dry .
That's what I was thinking or even just to crinkle it.... I don't think I want to invest much time into blow drying the hair.

Can this work as a winter protective style for natural hair?
This is a wonderful and beautiful option for a winter protective style. Its parted because of the braid so your scalp will still be able to breath, yet the hair is still able to keep the hair protected and out of the elements. (I'm a licensed Natural Stylist)
