jqcxb right hand moves constantly in a shuffled rhythm: ti-da ti-da ti-da. Strum down on the da’s and up on the ti’s. Hit the top 3 strings in accordance with the rhythm.
Left hand is forming a 1-5-1 chord on the top 3 strings fret that chord in accordance with the rhythm as well, lifting up to mute it.

It is the original, with my guitars mixed a lot louder in the mix. There are a couple parts I didn’t play correctly, like the original chorus progression has a hammer on and pull off between A and Bb on the A string, which I played incorrectly in this recording (i.e. different from the original) and didn’t notice that part of the original riff until later. But if you couldn’t tell the difference between my tone/playing and the original then I’ll take your comment as a compliment, thanks. Btw this was recorded with Helix direct but the same exact tone is possible with the $450 Pod Go direct to your DAW (pod go has the same modeling as Helix).

Garrison Lowe I record the audio and video separately for these videos so the video and audio aren’t always perfectly in sync. In addition to the inaccuracies I mentioned above, there are a bunch of parts in this video where the doubling of the guitar parts is clearly audible since I added my tracks on top of the original. The doubling is very obvious, even on a phone speaker. If you can’t hear the doubled parts then I’m not sure what else to say. Definitely don’t watch my Plexi 2.0 video because in all of the songs I covered in that video I played along with backing tracks with the original guitars removed, so there's no doubling.
Oh and at the end of this video I faded out the original track leaving just my guitar tracks... how did I fake that...?
