I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (March 21, Lent 5), this was our Old Testament Lesson of the Day. We also read this every year on the last Sunday in October, which is Reformation Sunday. HERE I STAND. I CAN DO NO OTHER. Martin Luther.

When we mix the old covenant (OT) w/the new covenant (NT) it's like being married to Jesus (the bride of Christ) & committing adultery, or having an affair w/Moses. It reminds me of a verse I read somewhere (I forget where) that said something along the lines of; Thou shall not commit adultery. Amen 😉👍
