The ending part right after Eobard from flashpoint kills Barry's mom would've felt much cooler to me if Flashpoint lasted at least 5 episodes. Episode would still needed to be used for the crossover.
The problem I have with that is at that point Flashpoint is a pointless story. It'd take up 20% of the season and would only serve as references for latter characters in the main timeline. And it's not like development would go anywhere Flashpoint's Iris, Wally, Joe, etc are totally different people than the ones that he knows...
If flashpoint be a crossover maybe use Oliver use his season 1 to season 4 events to inspire Barry to move on to reference Batman inspire Barry move forward.

Here is my issue. In the real time line his mother lives. Flash still becomes flash and so reverse flash changes that and creates a new time line. The first time line should still exist. When reverse flash goes back he enters another universe and thus kills another mother. The first universe stays safe and that Barry is in the Justice League. Mentors Wally West or kid flash and saves the day with green lantern and the rest.
DC does not interpret time travel the same as Marvel. Marvel follows the alternate timeline theory, where your timeline is concrete no matter the change. DC follows the opposite: You alter the timeline, it ripples all the way through and affects the time you came from.
He should had went back a little further in time and stop the reverse flash before his mom was attack and restore his true timeline. -Reverse flash travel back in time altering Flash future-
Well when Eddie kills himself the timeline should of been somewhat restored because the reverse flash was never born thus he could never had killed Barry mother and Barry would never become the flash because reverse flash would never take Harrison wells place and then Eddie would still be alive but that would mean thawne would still be alive. I think the original timeline would be achieved, if barry went into the future to kill thawne in his own timeline, avoiding thawne messing with timelines

No the Reverse Flash did. After Barry saved his mom, he created Flashpoint. But in that flashpoint timeline things started going bad. So Barry then allowed the Reverse Flash to kill his mom so they could restore and fix the timeline.
