Great Suchi... very helpful! I can share my experience too ..(.if it helps anyone here from India wanting to travel to Canada) of getting CPHR designation- i have 10 years of work experience in HR and decided to give CPHR to increase my employment chances in Canada- i gave the exam ( which wasnt very easy but insightful as it helps understand employment laws pertaining to the country) received my certificate/designation this year in Oct. In india SBMC is tied up with CPHR British Columbia and Yukon.. so they help a lot to coordinate in our timezone. This year the exam was also virtual so helped:)

@mallika Thanks for sharing! so this means we can do this certification from India as well I believe like you did? I plan to relocate next year but wanted to start the process now. Did you reach out to SBMC or CPHR BC directly to start the process? Considering your work experience (I have the same tenure), they didn't suggest not giving the exam?
@@CP-ve9ti - so i reached out to CPHR BC&Yukon, they redirected me to SBMC.. the option of not giving exam wasn’t given to me honestly... if we plan to work there i think its better to give as it exposes one to employment laws etc. but yes a lot of folks go for no exam- its your choice....hope this helps..

Thanks alot dear for the detailed information. Wow! I never knew that you may not have to give examination at all and can get certification based on ur education and experience. I thought that was only for the initial waiver for NKE examination and later you do have to study further- 9 subjects. As I understand from your experience, you did not have to study at all for this certification? TIA. I hope to get clarification 🙏

I think fees in india is very expensive comparatively wht u told I have been quoted with 1688$ for CPHR India

I am writing my VOE. But I am not very clear on how detailed explanation of each work situation be provided. Lot of cases in HR are not just same as studied as part of HR course undertaken. Can you please share an example for the same.
