There is a lot of misconception about myo-electric prosthesis. Some think that it has to be all or none. That is not the case. There is a hybrid setup that can happen where it's partially body powered and only the terminal device is myo-electric. Controlled by a two-site system, makes the prosthesis very simple and easy to use! Not to mention the hybrid elbow flexion controlled by a body powered harness makes suspension very consistent.
