Applicators driven by a powerful electric servomotor, with steep acceleration/deceleration ramps; capable of developing maximum performance:
- 600mm stroke in 0.39 + 0.39 seconds (OUT+IN = 0.78 seconds total)
- 1000mm stroke in 0.49 + 0.49 seconds (OUT+IN = 0.98 seconds total)
Typically used in e-commerce logistics, it is the best solution for quick labeling of even very different package heights, from envelopes to large packages. In fact, the applicator includes the firmware module for possible connection to a specific Omron sensor for height detection.
The applicator can operate in the following alternative modes:
- Controlled by optical sensor of variable stroke.
Suitable where products have the same height within the same production batch. When the batch changes, simply call up the labeling program to obtain application at the desired point, even at variable speeds (Absolute Electronic Target function requiring optional encoder).
On the other hand, in the case where products have different heights within the same production batch, application takes place at random points in the product pitch.
- Controlled by Omron distance sensor, i.e., "product height."
Also suitable if products always have different heights within the same production batch. Application always occurs at a precise point on the product pitch even at variable speeds (Absolute Electronic Target function).
