When I was in grade school, On top of my parent's 1954 refrigerator we had a radio in cream plastic like that, bakelite maybe,maybe a bit smaller but we listened in snowy weather to hear if school was closed due to the snow!
I love to use those bottles with the fine point for glue. I tap them on the table when I am done crafting so the glue runs out of the tip and back into the bottle. When I forget I just use a stainless steel straight pin to clear it. TFS
I just watched a video where a lady bought fabric coasters that she used for rugs. I thought it was a great idea. If you search for dollhouse rugs they are more expensive than some of the coasters. Anyhow, her channel is called Willow Tree Miniatures. Not sure if that's the same one you mentioned. Anyhow, I just found your channel and am loving it. Thanks!
I make minis and I swear by those Japanese saws they are the only ones I will use and the fact they come in smaller sizes is perfect for us mini crafters however I have replaced my household saws with larger versions of these too as they just saw through wood so much quicker and easier which is great for people with mobility or dexterity issues
In your bee wool felting kit: : the white foam block is for felting the wool on. : the greyish "blobs" on the side of the white foam are the needles you felt with (they stick the needles into the foam for safe keeping, tranport and so no one gets stuck/impailed by them....they are bloody sharp). Pull them out of the foam carefully (straight out), so that they don't break or damage the foam.
Thanks i noticed it was the needles later on but i hadnt thought of that foam as thick enough to felt on. I thought i was going to have to buy one. Thanks ill try what they sent. I have to watch more youtube videos on felting.

@@pegeen6634 If you want to have some aida cloth (X-stitching fabric) as "the background" in your picture/project, maybe you could try putting a piece of felted/wool fabric or stuffing beho d the Aida, for your top/felted wool to "grab" onto(?) Maybe you have an old wool sweater, you don't need/want any more. Wash it in HOT water, with soap. Then dry it on HOT setting. Hopefully it will totally felt down and be solid/stable for you (ie wont shrink anymore) to work with, as a base/backing to your Aida dry felting project.
I just got a bunch of miniatures from Aliexpress. Many of the items seemed to be more 1:6 scale than 1:12. There were also some problems with the shipment (substitutions/ommissions/missing items). I tried putting up reviews for the shipment, but after all that work, I kept getting a "System busy. Try again later." message. I tried a few times to put up the review, but it was never accepted and finally I gave up trying. The ad descriptions/search terms are usually vague. I agree with you, that having buyer reviews really help describe what the item really is and would be good to use for. And, what size the item really is.
Really i thought they would be taller. Oh well. Lol thanks gor letting me know cause i dont have one. I guess i was thinking the stove kind. My thought for it for a miniature would have been someone boilung water for tea on it.
@@clamh84 it might! I used to put a mug of water on my old radiator to add moisture to the room. It never boiled or got real hot but it did get pretty warm
Audio? No sound playing through Comcast Xfinity despite other CZcams video audio plays fine. Oddly, audio is there in CZcams mobile phone app... Update: audio IS there but is so muffled and muted I have to turn up volume to max to barely hear it.
So strange i do t know why this happens. It spunds ok on my devices. Im looking into it as well as an affordable microphone in the future. So sorry bout the sound

If it is plastic I would go outside and melt around it with a soldering iron to get the old one out then use foam board or cardboard to make bottom complete with a hole to fit new flickering tea light. Paint it black. I've seen people in Mexico and India build lots of things with tea lights in them with inexpensive materials. No money to buy stuff so can't buy this cute heater and try it myself.

The tiny beads could go in little jars to mimic food etc. Then the plastic container could be reused as under bed storage.

Just measured my cast iron fireplace wood stove in my living room against my leg. Just hits the top of my knee. I’m 5’9”.
