Seeing Geralf in this deck looks real nice! I remember other Djinn/mentor decks were esper and I don't remember why, but this azor build looks good.
I think azorius is cleaner - you have all you need, and consistency is important with all those 1 mana cantrips :)
Really cool synergy with these combos! I might try it and add a chrome shark to it for more creatures!
I think case of the ransacked lab would do well in this also!
I've been loving this deck lately, i run a version with spells instead of the 2 drop creatures and lockdown to help vs boros and mono red
I guess it makes sense, as all our bombs are 3 drops :)

I don't really think it would fit here, also most spells are 1 mana, so you don't get much discount :) Point is, that your "ransacked lab" in this deck - is already producing lethal creatures at end step :) For lab, I think we would completely rebuild deck and go full control route 🦥

I think I missed it tbh, but caves are very hard to be made competitive, hope some more will be printed :) I heard links etc. usually gets autodeleted by YT, at least that's what I've heard from some comments :)
What cars are rotating out? Is it just the March and Oswara?

Some are, like considers/marches,so basically some 1 mana enablers. If I recall, monk/djinn/geralf all stay. But yeah, this one isn't rotation proof fully

Beware to those whoever play this. Some games you just end up never lining up your pieces before turn 3 or 4, and are just considering or gazing a bunch. And in standard nowadays that's a death sentence.
True, but generally deck has a lot of cantrips/draw/cycling, so in my experience it is easier than with many other decks

@@SlothMtg absolutely, but the three drops are about spamming tokens that would overwhelm. If I can stop myself getting overwhelmed, I'll be alright :D
@@Demios101 Haughty Djinn is still there, and prowess makes the Mentors fairly damaging. The tokens are not the only thing to worry about.
@@trixlee5102 absolutely, I'm not pretending it's a bad deck. Just that slowing it down puts my control deck in favor against this.

Not rotation proof :) Key cards are though, but not sure if we get activators like considers/gazes etc.
I was thinking about what tempo really is, and decided on pretty much aggro for control players, so ye - kinda as you mentioned :)
@SlothMtg it's fair aggro. It's not 1 creature with double strike and a hand full of buff/hexproof garbage spells i.e removal on turn 2 or you lose.
It's also not haste board from no where at all for 18 damage red.
It's also not turn 3 play out 8/9 worth of stats and draw 2 creatures boros garbage
It's reasonably fair to play against and has counterplays that don't require 2-3 mana counters trading for 1 mana 2/2 with haste that deal 1 damage and buff a creature on etb for 1/1
@@TheBlackKnightmare Luckily Kumano is leaving in the rotation, which will be a big hit for Red Aggro. In fact it's the biggest problem that deck has to overcome, as it also means their Planeswalker removal is weakened.
Too few lands, yeah? Tried this and mulliganed repeatedly for 2 games.
I know what you mean, but this archetype runs few lands - you can play half a game on 1 land if you have right cards - and cantrips make hitting lands way easier. I didn't take many mulligans I think, lands were fine and you want to be on the "non-land draws" side, similar to mono red (but cantrips make it way easier)
I wanna know who you guys pay at WotC to not get completely fucked by the shuffler every game. Im about to just stop playing the game at this point because its a waste of time. Thanks Arena, youve made me hate a game Ive played since '94.
Check out more videos on channel, you will see that I get "entertained" by the shuffler regularly :) One of reasons why I never go below 26 lands, because then curving out to 4 mana seems like a miracle 🤷♂️
