Psalms Chapter 92 1(A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
Thank You! I suppose I could truthfully say I'm a bit envious of anyone/everyone who has more knowledge and wisdom than me. However, their knowledge does me no good unless I humble myself and listen. Only then will THEIR knowledge and wisdom become MINE. Once it's mine, I will never be tempted to envy them again. That's one easy way to deal with it...... good old-fashioned humility. It requires very little effort (you basically do nothing). Humility gets you more of whatever you don't already have. The wrong kind of envy (without humility or proper respect) only motivates you with selfish desires of personal ambition, personal gain, and personal success..... The Bible seems to define that as something called "pride"....... Whatever THAT is. May the spirit of the one God (revealed, expressed, and manifest in Jesus the Christ) unify us, lead us, and guide us into all truth!
en'-vi (qin'ah; zelos, phthonos): "Envy," from Latin in, "against," and video, "to look," "to look with ill-will," etc., toward another...("love") envieth not." Such good teaching I love these teachings they are so anointed of God.
