Do a Compression video on NEW Yongnuo Vs Sony Vs Samyang Vs Viltrox , which one is best for all Segments
simple, informative, personal opinion with good storytell and example photos - it's enough why i've always love every single ur videos, Mate🤜🏻 keep creatin
Ahh thanks so much buddy! Glad you enjoy this kinda style 💪
Lol. I am watching this video from germany. And I instant realized...wait...these Pictures...thats quarteira (my second hometown)😅 great video. Helped me a lot
Heeey what a coincidence - Quarteira it is. I hope you miss it a little less now :) Cheers!
Great review - I just ordered this lens from Yongnuo direct and look forward to trying it on my new Sony A7CII.
What are your thoughts on it? Seems like a great combo.
Great video as always mate.
One question, if you could only choose one lens to use for the rest of your life what would it be? 🤔
Thanks Lars! Heh a tough question! Probably the most versatile one… 24-70 f2.8 (for full frame). if budget wouldn’t be a concern, I would probably get the Sony 24-70mm II f2.8 G Master. Or for less money the same, but from Sigma. Or lastly, if I was on budget then Tamrons version of it. 24-70 covers most of the common focal lengths and f2.8 would compensate (somewhat) for prime’s capability
Congratulations on your videos. Interested in your opinion, new edition Yongnuo 85mm1.8 or Viltrox 85mm 1.8?
Thank you so much! I haven't tested the Viltrox 85mm f1.8 but there are 3 things:
1. Viltrox as a brand (in my opinion) producer higher quality lenses, they have more experience, many PRO lineup and cinema lenses too;
2. Even though Yongnuo scored very high on DXOMark, I believe overall Viltrox is better;
3. And lastly, I have heard from many users an extremely positive review of their Viltrox 85mm. With that being said, Yongnuo is also a really good lens, I just found the AF to be problematic.
@@TomsJurjaks Thanks for the answer!
I love your videos ❤
I appreciate it my friend 🙏
Chromatic abberation comparison????
Super vedio I'like your vedios ❤
Thank you so much 😀
What lens you used to film this? It has a lot of chromatic aberration
of course sony lens will perform better on sony camera its native lens.what can be compared is how close is the yn lens to sony lens and the price differential.
I am not sure if the "native lens narrative" is still valid. Of course technically it should be true, but the high-end Sigma lenses perform just as well as native lenses (except in some specs like burst speed etc), but purely talking about quality, AF etc. Perhaps bigger brands like Sigma has better collaboration with Sony compared to YN and that could result in poorer performance?
Hi, can I use this lens in sony ZVE10? (aps-c)
Yes, you can. But I would rather buy a Sigma 56mm f1.4 (APSC lens that also fits ZV-E10) - its much smaller, lighter, mad sharp and and has great AF.
I have yn85 mark i for the past 2 years and it work fine with me. It ridiculous to see the autofocus test that bad. When I do walking shot, most of the time 7 out of 10 is in focus. Perhaps because I use wide focus mode.
I'm confused.... The 85mm 1.8 Sony is on the list for focus breathing compensation.
Interesting. I found the 150-600 Sigma to be good at its performance, but man it was a bazooka. I guess we both then picket the right lenses :)
what if I can buy the sony for just a bit more money than the Yongnuo? would it be still worth it?
If its just a little bit more expensive then go with Sony. Its more reliable, better AF and easier to sell later if needed
buy 5 yongnuos with the price of 1 G master

If Youngnuo send you this lens for testing purpose, they will send you one of their best batch. So of course lens is "good". But of course your test then is not representative..
Or have you heard about pre-production lenses? The one they sent to me (and bunch of other people) before the official launch with beta software before an update, before public release, before a veeery thorough testing? Or perhaps the lens is simply not that good since its not the most high-end brand. Or perhaps my test is not representative. Many options here :)
