    Very cool...lol. I’m really surprised that Spyderco hasn’t put out more of their models with the button lock. It seems to me that any button lock would be a big, big, seller. So why do you think they haven’t done that? Thanks for bringing this to our attention. You rock man...

    I got my 0562ti from BWL and they were awesome to work with. I used to have a stock PM2 but the compression lock on the knife would pinch my hand whenever I opened it with the intent to use it. I ended up selling it to a friend but regretted it. This one seems to be perfect. Who needs to eat everyday anyway

    I've been looking at that Drop\Mordax push button and am intrigued by this. I love this idea for those ugly Spyderco knives. Although I have seen this compression\button mod done before these customs certainly look better.
    Why the Hell isn't Spyderco offering this!?

    That button really makes compression lock perfect for gloves,which I think is the last piece of a perfect folder's puzzle.Unfortunately that may cause legal problem in some country

    • @GravityRoller
      @GravityRoller Před 3 lety

      "some country" ... Hell, in my state that appears to be a knife with a button that free drops the blade aka "A dangerous weapon" and no longer simply a knife or tool. Button lock also button or "mechanical device" release.
      RCW 9.41.250
      (2) "Spring blade knife" means any knife, including a prototype, model, or other sample, with a blade that is automatically released by a spring mechanism or other mechanical device, or any knife having a blade which opens, or falls, or is ejected into position by the force of gravity, or by an outward, downward, or centrifugal thrust or movement.
      COOL non-the-less !!

  • @tomgarcia9200
    @tomgarcia9200 Před 4 lety

    I think for a full custom with different blade steels he would have to add another detent hole so that it would work with the left handed compression lock. It looks like if youre left handed like myself you might be in better luck as the right hand conversion doesn't involve that step but upon further inspection even that looks like it would be problematic because the scale from the compression lock on the button side has no compression cutout, meaning its from a lefty compression scale. Youd be limited to the scales he offers ..i think

    could also take blade out and remove coating around there, where needed ;)

    • @LuvThemKnives
      @LuvThemKnives  Před 4 lety +1

      Orochi Yagami I don’t think they were doing the button lock because they saw the compression as a problem. It’s just an alternative for those who like button locks.

    • @FreedomExperiment

    • @yehudah.718
      @yehudah.718 Před 4 lety

      Chief Chuf these are still great knives and would work excellent in most situations but don’t you agree that the tri ad lock has a more secure lock up? Also for utility(yes some people do actually use their knives) I would still prefer the tri ad. But you are entitled to your opinion if you think the modified compression lock is more secure. By the way there are plenty of people who defend themselves with rocks and sticks if they get attacked, even without training, so I would say that with basic knife training( something that you should have if you’re spending so much on a knife) and a good knife, I would be able to dissuade at least some people from continuing an attack. But whatever you say.

    Esto es un canal bueno para poder ver el modelo de navaja que quieres en video, porque este hombre tiene los medios para sacar todas las navaja que quiera. Pero porfavor, la revisión que hace lo puede hacer cualquiera, no dice nada que no te diga en la descripción del producto, no hace ninguna prueba.... eso me da a entender que no tiene ni idea ni de cuchillos/navajas y menos de aceros. Esas posibilidades de poder ensenyar cualquier navaja, se la merecen decenas de personas mas profecionales en este sector de la cuchillería que son youtubers también, que este hombre que no sabe ni como se fabrica un acero... me parecen pésimas estas revisiones😑
