  • We made this fantastic tyre shine product called Sweet Rubber over a year ago, only releasing it as a special edition run for the All Aussie Bucket. The overwhelmingly positive reaction (and us running out of our own stash of it) has us making a new batch and releasing it as an adored addition that's here to stay in our range. You can find it in many of our supporting stores nationwide, read more about it below:
    Awesome attributes of this one are:
    • A more water-resistant modern formula that really bonds to rubber, for a more uniform application and longer-lasting, darker finish.
    • Provides long-lasting protection that's Incredibly hydrophobic on rubber, for easier cleaning plus water beads so good you'll think it's "ceramic".
    • Spreads beautifully - better than vegemite, a champion gymnast or the dreaded spicy cough - for a more even finish.
    • Creates a beautiful mid-sheen, deep lustrous, better-than-new black tyre look.
    • It doesn't do the annoying flinging and slinging down the side of your car's paintwork when used as we say.
    • Great UV protection to prevent damage and antiozonant browning of tyre walls.
    • Easy to use, quick drying and smells pretty damn good.
    • It will not damage or affect painted, chromed or alloy rims if you get it on them by accident.
    • Safe on factory red and white wall tyres, wipe over with a clean cloth after applying. Not for the aftermarket painted-on red or white walls.
    • Can also be used on exterior rubber trim and bumpers, but not for rubber mats or pedals where slipperiness could be an issue.
    • Use with our All Sorts tyre shine applicators for the very best finish.
    Proudly handmade in our manufacturing shed with locally sourced and made ingredients, all right here in Australia.

    Damn. I just bought a brand new bottle of Tyre Sheen.
    Looks like this Sweet Rubber is the better product out of the two.

      That will depend on the person and what you are after for your car. If you want a more natural finish then (like the classic car fraternity) Tyre Sheen is the go, a darker finish and something that protects better, then this one is.

    Does dust stick to it like other tyre shines? Or does it have some kind of magic to repel it? 😁

    • @BowdensOwn
      @BowdensOwn  Před rokem +3

      It's not a sticky finish, so you don't get the crazy brown walls, but dust sticking will happen as it comes from static charge, which rolling rubber creates a little bit of...

    How does this compare with Tyre Sheen, can it be used in conjunction with it?

    • @BowdensOwn
      @BowdensOwn  Před rokem +1

      Few differences in there, firstly the finish. Tyre Sheen is more of a satin finish like a brand new tyre, something needed for those who are serious about car shows and more so the concours set. It doesn't last quite as long, nor repel water like Sweet Rubber does, which is a very modern formula with the latest and greatest ingredients available in it. It has different fragrances as well there too, which is a bit of a nicety for the user at the time of application. Hope that all helps.

      If its soft exterior rubber, you can use this one them. Not made for hard rubber.

      Not at all, Tyre Sheen will be there for those after a more natural, brand new satin finish still. Mainly the car show set. :)
