Fun bit of trivia about the original song: a music critic had fired shots at Mehndi previously, saying that the only reason he was so popular was because all his music videos had a lot of beautiful women in them. In response, Mehndi filmed the video for "Tunak Tunak Tun" with nothing but himself in it, and it became his biggest hit!

    BLOODYWOOD!!! :)
They did their first tour last year. I saw them live here in Germany and it was one of the best gigs in a LONG time! Just so much fun!
They used to do metal-covers of pop songs but have been writing their own material for a while now.
Check out "Ari, Ari" or "Jee Veerey". Also listen to their comment at the end of the video.
The guitar he uses has whats usually called "fanned frets" or "multi-scale". Basically it just gives the lower strings a longer scale length than the higher ones.

I can't recommend their original music enough! Jee Veeray (sorry for the spelling) particularly!

I love Bloodywood!! They are talented, funny as hell (they've done some metal parodies of popular songs) and many of their songs have important social messages. Here are a couple of links for you. Make sure you watch until the very end.

Great video, tight musicianship and vocals, and a vibe somewhat reminiscent of the heavier side of Faith No More's musical kitchen sink
approach. P.S., Cookie Monster only wishes he could growl on command at such an exacting level!!

I read somewhere that Europe's biggest musical instruments cafe (Belgium) use to play this on their giant speakers

I like how in the thumbnail, the guy on the left has his fist up and seems to be enjoying it but then in the video, he is like: 😐

Greeting to both of you!! My today's suggestion is a brand new Industrial/Metal song entitled "We Died In 2012", by the French Canadian project named So-Fi: czcams.com/video/rFwZcGmzNY0/video.html
