Short live? In my opinion season 2 is too short. My theory which is probably supported by nothing but if you look at the intro of this series you can see scenes that ultimately did not appear in any episode, for example the scene where Mystery Machine runs away from King Kong and Shaggy mentions him in the episode with Sandy Duncan that he and Scooby ran away from him but they did not show it. It is also a pity for me that season 2 is cut and was supposed to be longer.

I can to include Grape Ape, Top Cat, Frankenstein Jr. and Squiddly Diddly with Scooby-Doo and Shaggy for the Video, since it made sense to do it.

13 Ghost was the only one that is truly short lived with only 13 episodes, we don't know if there will be a season 3 for Velma (hopefully not).
