Nice tutorial. Thank you for sharing. I just ordered some 2mm macrame 100% cotton cord. Hope this will give me the same texture and look.

Thank you! Yes, it definitely will work. A friend of mine tried this with macrame yarn and it was very textured. She did say to be careful with the crochet hook, because the yarn was a bit rougher. So I would recommend a metal hook. Good luck! :)

They look like potholders but they’re cute. I’m a beginner and was hoping I could make these but the chunky yarn that I bought keeps unraveling so I’ll come back later and try again. 😊

Thank you! Yes, definitely come back later and try this pattern. You've got this! 😊 The stitch used for this pattern is also a little tricky to make at first, so I would recommend making a couple of swatches first.

@@JewelsandJones yes I will! I’ve been been playing around with yarn practicing different types of stitches. I bou bought the wrong sized hook and ordered an 8 mm hook on Amazon so I’ll be getting that tomorrow so gonna try this after Easter. I’m making a swatch type thing with multicolored yarn and beige yarn combined and it’s looking pretty cool but at the same time it keeps curling up. Any suggestions on what to do with it?

Hi! I would love to try this pattern but unfortunately the yarn you are using is sold out on the referred site you indicated. Since I’m not sure if this yarn (air 3 mm) will again be available… any suggestions? I would really like to do this project with the same colours that you have used … just beautiful! Thank you :))

Hi there, thank you! I'm so glad you like the pattern. I just checked and they happen to have some available in their Etsy store (all go ahead and link it below). You could also use a macramé cotton cord or hold two strands of a worsted weight yarn. 😊

Thank you very much for your quick reply! The 3 mm in charcoal and natural is still not available as per their website but will actually be back in stock within 2 weeks as per their reply. I prefer sticking to your material since I am fairly new to crochet and would like to achieve the same result as yours! 😊
The only thing is that the delivery is quite pricey to ship to Canada 😕…
Is the cherry blossom colour from a long time ago? I don’t see it as a choice…I am sure it would match with the beige colour very well as a set!
      Thanks again for your assistance!

@@karinepicher4513 Hi Karine, just saw this comment. But the cherry blossom color was from a while ago, but I think it well match good as well. Shipping prices have definitely increased over the last couple of months. If you want to you could always wait till they have a sale and sometimes they even offer free shipping. You could always try it out with macrame cord first and get a feel for the pattern. 😊😊
