Oda should've compensated in some way for that mage pray flick. He was pot block karam only and had only 71hp. If korasi can't hit a 71, there maybe have been other fight conditions (veng situation, wombat's remaining spec %, etc.) that if couldn't kill him outright, could've created the right momentum for at least the next 3-4 secs.
I honestly think he did it on purpose, and I like Oda so I'm shocked he'd do it on purpose. He should've at least gave him 1 ely or 500m or something. The flick timing + eating/current HP conditions are just too good to be true for it to be an accident.
