Unfortunately there was too much air traffic and therefore the sound of the twin turbines wasn't to hear as good as I wanted. It's different here in Europe. If a Jet is in the air, no other model will disturb it.

I hear you! I hate it when I am filming a plane when a much louder plane is also in the air and drowning out the engine sounds. In your case, it is still a great video! The "glow" from the turbines at take off was awesome. 👍

Before anyone takes this the wrong way, let me clarify: I LOVE this jet. Marcio did an amazing job and his F15e looks amazing. With that being said, it seems like every single RC F15 I've seen has a nose that is too bulky and not to scale. If you look at pictures of the real F15e, you'll see that the nose is skinnier and more streamlined. This RC model has a bulkier nose....but nonetheless, amazing plane and amazing video as usual!

It's strange to me that a model manufacturer doesn't keep the measurements (scale factors) of all components. It's the same work during the construction of the scratch.

Now that is an amazing bird. beautiful craftsmanship. The only thing else that I would love to see is a real and complete afterburner for those twin turbines. You have developed this bird beautifully and a twin set of burners shooting 12" flames like the full sized F-15 would top the charts.
Word up! I have seen videos on CZcams of mini afterburners. I have been doing a lot of research and when I get my scaled 1/5 model with twin turbines, I am going to build afterburners into it. Light rings are not afterburners.

Probably my favourite fighter plane. Yours is one of the few that it´s good detailed. Aspect not always taken into account in RC Planes.

Yes. It's very detailed and finished. The $10k you've mentioned will not be enough to buy the half of that plane.
O.K. The landing wasn't the best Marcio did over these days at Nall, but it was very windy with different speed.

$10k not enough!! Holy smokes! I was being very conservative in my estimate. Getting out of touch these days. Thought my 1/4 scale Ryan STA some time back was costly at $1k :-)
ChrisB257 Time has changed, Chris. The plane you've had time ago, now it's cheaper and better. Scale models become better and more expensive. 👍😎
ChrisB257 there was a article in one of the rc magazines (pretty sure it was MAN) a while back and he had $70,000 into his believe it or not. Think it was a F100 Super Sabre

just looking at the photo for the video, it looked like a real F-15. That model is awesome. The F-15 is my favorite jet fighter. I would love to have one of those to fly. Expertly done.

The F-15 is my favorite fighter. Over 40 years old now and arguably still the best fighter in the world.
So cool, love the afterburners on take off. The other plane in the video annoying buzz wanted to hear the jet.
That's really cool. I worked on that jet many times at the 336th AMU.

at LAST a beautiful scale aircraft being flown in a scale manner - so many guys throw the aircraft all over the sky in the most unrealistic way, doing all sorts of flying that the real aircraft could not do. This is the best video I have ever seen of a scale jet, and a lot of that has to do with the realism of the flight. Why spend all that money on realism and then fly it like a toy? Anybody watching a video of this would be surprised to find out it's a model. Magic flying skills too! 10/10 Marcio.....

A most awesome F-15 my only critique is that the Strike eagle when produced was done at a date that the correct pilots helmets would have been the HGU-55 with the MBU-20/P oxygen Mask. This is a truly magnificent model!

Great plane and piloting. Amazing detail. To bad that loud gas prop job interfered with this video.
The sound of the jet was very realistic. But as I mentioned, the noisy gas prop job ruined this.

I fully agree about the noisy gas powered plane, but this is Joe Nall. There are many different types of models flying at the same time.

1:25 it taxied very gracefully thanks to its size and suspension, and it doesn't behave like other smaller RC jets especially on grass fields that bounce relentlessly.
LOL his flight suit looks like you cut up and used part of an Burlap Oyster sack to make it! He's going to have an heat stroke! Beautiful model though. Love the details. Awesome job!.

Woah... I just found out that Seymour Johnson still has F-15s !! Besides 2 stealths that rarely came out of the hangar, those were what I'd see flying during my 4 years at Langley AFB in VA.

I have 50 Plane but I do not own a jet yet planning in the future to get a jet aRc jst want to make the right choice for my first jet looking at an A-10 large-scale maybe.

Red / Green nav lights in wing roots are backwards. Green is starboard, red is port (left).
The 2 wing root lights to which you refer as being incorrect are in fact, anti collision lights and they are indeed BOTH RED. They are not nav or position lights. The modeller is correct and they are not backwards. You may be referring to the position lights which are on the wingtips and vert, but those are correct as well.
Beautiful plane! You could use that for some shots in a movie and 9 out of 10 people wouldn't know it wasn't the real thing. Like some of the other comments, I wish we could have heard it without the flying weed eater in the background.

Yes, this fighter could be used for a movie.
Unfortunately there is always a big air traffic at the airshows in the US. You will not see this in Europe.

That plane flies rock solid. I can’t help but wonder if it has a gyro in it.
Thanks. Most jet models have a gyro installed. This helps the model to fly more beautifully and to keep it stable when landing.
