I just found out that if you click on the “research genealogy” option on the computer (under web) then it’ll give your sim a phone call from their long lost cousin asking them to stay over. In my game they cousin is staying for 4 days while my sims prep to give birth

I think the best thing to do is a legacy family. Make all the grandparents, pair them, have them have kids then pair them and have grandkids. The longer you spend on each sim it can be really nice! Building a cool rec centre your sim spends lots of time at is fun too.
I messed up making a backup of my game files when resetting my laptop, resulting in losing all my saves incl my legacy fam (was at gen7)😢 I've mourned for a minute and then decided it was an okay thing, as this brought the opportunity for ALL my legacy sims to have infants and milestones, instead of only the newest gen And for grandparent stayovers
I really love your videos, sometimes binging on them for hours. I sometimes even watch them repeatedly. Your videos really inspire my gameplay and make me excited to play Sims 4 again. Thank you for your effort you put into making these videos! 😄
The sleeping bag should pair well with mermaid sims, especially during autumn when it rains quite frequently. Finally, my mermaids can sleep out in the open and enjoy the hydration from falling rain drops.
Adding trays or replacing traits is such a powerful boostsims can have. And I'm a huge fan of the new community lot: you can simply plop in every skill item and your Sim get to train their skills without the need to buy thd respective item! Very practical fof poor starting out Sims.
I love the IDEA of the puzzles but whenever I have my sims do them they always seem to get bored lol Edit; speaking of acquiring traits, don’t make the mistake of accepting squeamish IF you are taking care of infants; I did and my sim got an uncomfortable +10 (nausea) EVERY time she changed a diaper! Total pain lol
I"m so glad you made this. I'm not super interested in the infants so I wasn't so keen on the pack but the 'stay over' interaction makes it worth it for me. I could finally run a B&B!
I did notice that you can't assign a bed to a guest, so even though there was a fully available extra bed in the house, the guest decided to sleep in the couch repeatedly.
the baby shower cannon is so funny. i feel like it might've been intended as a "gender reveal" thing that they decided to take out (since gender reveal parties suck lol) but keep the cannon since it was already made. having the confetti coloured depending on the child's gender (if the hosting parent is pregnant) seems like such a simple "missed opportunity" that it seems deliberate to me they even have a chance of killing your guests, like actual gender reveal parties have done!
Nah I don't think they thought about gender reveal parties as the cannons existed before without that context. But I bet 15 years ago a pack like this would have included gender reveal parties.

I didnt watch any spoiler content from the EP so i dont know anything about the gameplay but now have the EP. My sim is about the be a toddler with a sibling on the way. This video is super helpful!
I still need to throw a family reunion in the game. It looks like so much fun. I have been toying with the idea of running an infant/newborn store in the game but haven't tried it yet. I'm eventually going to have to restart the Super Sim challenge because of infants and all the milestones. I wonder if anyone will ever get them all? I know Dr. Gluon is trying it. Should be interesting to see where it goes.
Is there a new death, people were saying something about the alligators but I haven’t seen anything about it yet, great video as always, very informative.
If they were going to add tabletop games they missed an opportunity to add in tabletop RPG's such as DnD I mean really they already have a table...all that would be needed is a GM or DM starting the club to get the game together & if they wanted to make it slightly interactive then have the DM choose characters for their players -- that would have been awesome & truly if that is ever an update or even an expansion I'm so here for it.
started a new legacy when the new pack came out the fresh twins see the founder only as ancestor in the family tree anymore the family cleaned sulani, did strangerville, went to sixam, evergreen harbors warf is rejuvinated too xD rn we have the gay vampires of san sequia with their newborn science baby twin boys
Sadly, puzzles are rubbish on console. Along with cross-stitch, puzzles are completely monochrome on console, and it seems to be a deliberate choice. A fair few players have expressed their disdain for this on the EA Answers forum. Might be able to make good money with it, but they look like complete garbage. What a waste.

Oh my gosh a Super Sim challenge definitely got a bit harder now with Growing Together. Would be rather fun (but a little daunting) to try though! :)

No, they only give your Sim a negative moodlet. There are no new deaths.
