Generally, a sort of bond is formed between club members because they're club members, but it shouldn't be a prerequisite to joining a club

@@bluenation2119 it's not about befriending everyone before being accepted in the club you dummy. It's about befriending everyone in the club so you'll seem more trustful for the club leader so he/she/them will give you a super powerful task that will help you with your elimination pretty easily.

Since she doesn’t feel emotions, she would have to kill them or lend them away from Senapi. She didn’t kill them because she had the same crush, but because if she didn’t, she would lose the person that would keep her sane.

I feel like when the player kidnaps someone after each day of torturing them wounds and bruises should show up depending on how long they torture them. Like if you torture them for 1 hour only a few wounds show up and if you torture them for 18 hours more severe wounds would show up. I feel like that'd be some spicy details.

I think the school should be more alarmed when more than 1 student goes missing. Cause for now it's just missing posters. Unless the student who's missing is one of the student council, then they'd add security cams and metal detectors. That's kinda unbalanced. Maybe not metal detectors, but just security cams, especially in places that people rarely go to. The more students that goes missing, more cameras will be added to the school ground. Unless the student is insignificant and people barely know they exist then I think that would be an exception?

That’s a good idea, but I feel like 3-4 students should be the limit, or no one would bother killing osana and instead would avoid it completely. If one-two students are missing, there can be posters, but if more end up disappearing within a short time stamp, then it there be cameras .

Sorry I'll rephrase what I said. They do get paranoid when students go missing. The Atmosphere just doesn't drop as far as when a corpse is discovered

I think great way for you to inform new players about what to do is giving yandere chan "thoughts", like she should say stuff like "I need to find a way to kill her." "I should catch her alone but how?" "Class is about to start." And such, that would make ayano feel more alive and actually doesn't look like mindless zombie, even though she is a yandere.

I’d be careful with this, it’s been used in a few games and I’ve noticed it’s easier to screw up then to get right. For example let’s use the new tomb raider games, in the first one Lara doesn’t have these “thoughts” it was an ok experience, I didn’t feel the game needed them. But in the second game if you were stuck on a puzzle for too long (like 5-10 mins) she would say something like “hmm I need to find a way around” so while not extremely helpful it’s also not annoying. However in the most recent game, if you are anywhere for too long Lara starts saying the same voice clip what feels like every thirty seconds and it’s very unhelpful too like “hmm I think this moves” in a room full of water wheels. So with the thoughts thing I’d say yes it’s a good idea but he should be very careful that it doesn’t get annoying.
I don’t know if it’s just me but yanderedev in these two videos has sounded much more enthusiastic and positive than before and it’s kinda refreshing

I had an idea, maybe you could have a way of having rainy, windy, and snowy days and the characters could wear something different for the weather. Like if you watch anime they have a umbrella holder inside the school and the character could wear rain jackets and boots. Idk it was just an idea. Oh and the player could pick what weather they wanted. You could also make more elimination methods with different weathers.
oh and if it's raining hard/thundering, screams, laughs and giggles can't be heard. if you manage to convince someone to get out in the rain-something that should be made difficult because of how beneficial it is-you can kill them and only need to dispose of the corpse and weapon because the rain will take care of the blood and fingerprints. and maybe to make it a bit more of a delicate feature, people notice when you're going out in the rain, which means instead of worrying about evidence on rainy days, you'll need to worry about witnesses and people claiming to remember seeing you with that person last, asking them to come outside in the rain. that'd be pretty cool.

Real quick idea I thought of: Amai’s rival-specific elimination could be getting her ingredients for a dish she’d been working on all week. Maybe if you bought the poison beforehand then you could poison the last ingredient, and when she tests the taste of what she made she’ll die from poison.
Currently when you eliminate Osana by poisoning her, Senpai’s immediate response is to call the cops. Hopefully Yandere Dev will fix that and have him call paramedics instead. Also, I notice that when you walk into the headmaster’s office he pulls a taser out and threatens you with it. Hopefully Yandere Dev will make it possible for us to report him to the school faculty or guidance counselor and get him in trouble for threatening students.

The headmaster thing is related to the lore. He can get away with threatening Ayano and even tasing her, because of a secret that has yet to be revealed.
We don't know the exact situation of the headmaster, but he seems 100% sure Ryoba Aishi was a murderer all along.

I think depending on the way you eliminate rivals, it will affect your chances of Sendai accepting your confession. If you match make too many times, Senpai will think that he is not as appealing as other boys and reject your confession. If you befriend and convince the rivals to stay away too many times, then Senpai will be worried than no one will ever spend time and just reject him, causing him to reject you. It’s all about balancing the elimination methods. I already have my elimination methods for each rival💀😂

In reference to the topic of needing to promote players getting rid of bodies, you could have the victim’s death animation just have them fighting against ayano with a slight struggle before ultimately killed. If the body is found, there’s DNA under the victim’s nails, thus it leads to yanchan (:

I like to think Info-Chan is just doing it bc she’s on the deep/dark web and makes bank by using the stuff you give her(especially the panty shots)
For balancing elimination methods, why don't you make it so that you can only do violent eliminations once? Say you poison Osana to get rid of her; you can no longer poison the other rivals. The explanation could be that you don't want to create any more patterns than you already have. After all, you're only killing girls of the same or a similar age group who go to the same school and interact with the same boy. That's a lot of info for the cops or a detective to use. So, to decrease that, you only can use one violent method per rival, and once that method has been used, it cannot be performed again. This would also make the player think out which methods they want to use and when ahead of time so they don't use all the easy methods early on and are left with harder methods for the harder rivals.
i like this idea, i think it balances out some of the easier elimination methods. maybe not one use only, but you cannot use it twice in a row or maxed out at two, something along those lines. would love to see this get added
I really like this idea! I think that it'll increase the player's creativity in killing rivals, it makes the game a lot more challenging! If you kill a rival in a violent way, you can no longer use the violent elimination method again.

He said about one or two years ago that repeated elimination methods have an impact on senpai. If you kill too many he thinks everyone he loves will die so he refuses your love at the end.

Have you considered adding the ability to have a 'Best Friend' or 'Enemy' in the game? You could have a 3 point scale when interacting with an NPC where if you have enough positive interactions with someone, they become your 'Best Friend'. They follow you around a lot more closely, making it harder to kill anyone. However, you could implement it so that if you manage to kill someone and clean up everything except the body, you can meet them away from the corpse and ask them to follow you. As long as you remain in their line of sight, when they discover the corpse, they don't immediately suspect you. Instead, a dialogue option comes up where you can fake panic and instruct them to call the police. Obviously the police don't find anything but when the police go to question the player, the NPC defends them as they were the one to advise calling the police. This reduces the school atmosphere penalty and slightly improves your general reputation for your 'quick thinking'. If 3 or less witnesses come forward, the NPC defends the player and the witnesses lose reputation and are considered unreliable moving forward. Obviously, these can only be used once with a player that has high sanity and a positive general reputation.
On the other hand, if you have enough negative interactions with an NPC, they become your 'Enemy'. They also follow you around more closely, trying to find something to get you into trouble. They will never do favours for you. However, a mechanic could be implemented where you could stage incidents of 'bullying' to get them into trouble. For example, you could steal their phone and post some fake nasty messages about the player, then return the phone and report them for cyberbullying to the counsellor. They get in trouble and your reputation slightly increases in sympathy.
*at this point, the game is now getting more difficult but i'm in for it*

I have a great idea for getting people to clean up corpses! Most kids (and their parents) wouldn't feel safe going to a school with a murderer on the loose. So maybe if a corpse is discovered, some of the easily spooked kids will stay home for a few days to make sure its safe. The more corpses are discovered, the more kids will stay home. But if no more corpses are discovered, then kids will start to come back to school.
i feel like that would be beneficial to the player though. it means less potential witnesses

Realistically it should depend on the quality of the witnesses, what exactly they saw and how well they tell their stories etc. But such variables are so difficult to implement using Boolean logic, so I guess that'll just have to be it, for now at least

I was just about to comment how I checked if the video was actually over because I was waiting for Midori to pop-up “Yandere dev! Yandere dev!”
So I came up with an interesting idea for future development of Yandere Simulator: What if as the game progresses through the ten weeks, the season could start changing. As they change details around the school will alter. An example would be snow beginning to fall or students dressing warmer (not those specifically but things like that). I also think this would add a sense of realism to game, given the fact that it’s over a ten week time period. The seasons changing could potentially reveal or rule out elimination methods such as snow being everywhere could unlock a snow shovel or snow plow and subsequently ruling any of the students going outside in their free time.
- For the demo list maybe it can be replaced with achievements, for example: “ New fish in the sea- Osana had drowned, rival eliminated! ”
- For the bodies make the police discover Yandere Chan’s hair stands on the body or clothing stands, fragments of dead skin or spit. This will force physically the player to get rid of the corpse as a purpose not because “I said so”.

I think I have a task for the photograph club(sorry I forgot his name). What about solving mysteries with the club? They are based off of scooby doo, so you can their trust by helping them to solve a mystery. It can also open up more ways to get away with killing the rivals. Like secret passageway, or more whys to get rid of the bodies. It's just an idea tho, it would probably take a while to make, but if you're having problems thinking of tasks for the club leaders you can use this one.

Speaking of the "sneak into the stalker house to get osanas cat" mission, i thought it be cool if you could in a way help the stalker. You get the cat from him and tell osana to meet you at your house, then you can drug her tea so she goes to sleep. Then you simply give osana to her stalker. This could involve some benefit somehow later in the game, but i just thought it be a cool idea.

I’m mostly glad that Yandere Dev is taking the time to recognize and balance out some of the game mechanics to make Yandere Sim a more enjoyable game for everyone. With all the negative feedback he seems to be getting, I’m glad he is still pushing forward to make something that he enjoys.

For the corpses when there not being disposed, there should be a way for the police to find DNA on the body from yandere chan since when she kills she touches the body with her hands.. this results in the player having to disposed of the corpse or they would get found out.

You know how if you were to do a task for somebody, they're instantly your friend and then you can make them follow you.
So its pretty easy to just kidnap a person. Personally if somebody just walked up to me and asked for me to follow them I'd ask why. So I think there should be a feature where if you choose to make somebody follow you. A bunch of things that they have opinions on come up. Lets say if you click reading one because they like reading. It would go like this. 'Hey follow me' - '*Hmm...* why?' 'I thought you liked books so I was wondering if you'd wanna come to a book sale thing going on in the sports hall.' 'SuRe' but then if you picked something that they didn't like they'd decline. If they're fine with the subject THENnN basically it matters on your friend stats with them. I feel like there should be a thing that lets you do more tasks for them or do things with them. This can boost your reputation a lot. But if thats too easy to get high reputation there should be a mini game for lets say studying or going out to town with them - like in AnImE cItY 3d you can make people come to town with you but you need to get the things they like or they'll like you less. The amount of time spent with a person will be put into categories. If you spend lots of time or help them with lots of things they'd be classed as your 'best friend' if you do quite a few things for them they'd be classed as you 'friend' if you do very little things you'll be 'mutual friends' and if you did one task then you just know each other. Being their best friend will be good and bad. As if they come across you they'll try make convo with you. This could be bad because if you're trying to go somewhere in a specific time or is trying to make your way to the changing room cause you have blood on your clothes. If they run into you like this they might ask you something like 'what is that? Is that blood or paint??' But whats good about them is that they will tell you their secrets, use them to eavesdrop on people - for example the basu sisters as there is a bench opposite them you could pretend your interested in what your 'friend' is talking about but your actually listening to the basu sisters. Plus maybe the more friends you have, some rivals will look up at you and admire you. So when you talk to them, they are really shy or are extremely open. So that makes friending rivals super easy. Plus talking to raibaru would be easy, as she could admire popular people. So basically when you ask somebody to follow you and they ask why. But you choose a thing they're fine with, they'd follow you because they'll follow you anytime. And getting stuff could be easier because you could ask them for things. Alsoo in convos you could maybe find out about the things they like.
if you're not bothered to read this all even though that has more detail tbh im not even bothered myself. Basically:
_Random stuff_
1. It would be cool if you dont just ask if you could do a task for somebody then they'd do anything for you, like instead the player has multiple options saying to have convos, the amount of tasks they have and asking if they'd wanna hangout to study or something.
_2. Friend stats_
Doing one task = would class you as a person they sorta know and they won't really do much for you like if you ask them to follow you they'd say you have things to do.
Doing a convo and a task = neutral friends (they'd tell you the latest gossip, small talk basically, if you ask them to follow you they'd ask why, giving you a list of things they like doing. For example if they like books and you click books. Ayano would tell the person that theres a book sale or something going on so they'd follow you.)
Doing 2 convos and 2 tasks = friend (they'd tell you maybe one secret about them and if you walk near they'd come to you to talk.)
Doing more than 2 convos and tasks = besties (this person would always come to you if you walk past, they'd do things for you like find things as long as its not suspicious, they'd do things for you - like find the keys to the medicine cabinet so you dont need to wait till lunch and if they see you with blood on you they'd assume its paint, they can make things harder eliminating rivals though.)
_5. Popularity_
Having many friends will make you popular, making admires and people having crushes on you. Being popular makes it easy talking to anybody, and your admires or crushes who are crazy obsessed with you will do anything for you. Even killing somebody, as long as you tell them you'll befriend them afterwards. If you dont they'll spread rumours about you.
_4. The pros and cons for having different friend stats._
Being popular is good because people would love you and maybe even if you get caught killing somebody people would report it. BUT an admire would tell the police that they're lying. But whats bad is that people could even stalk you, making it harder to eliminate people.
Having no friends makes it hard to make people to follow you, as they'd ask you why or just say they have to do something because they think your a sore looser. (Unless they're a looser as well they'll just ask why.)

It’d be interesting to see more methods of removing evidence, perhaps let’s say the police are called to school and the player is able to remove all the evidence via incinerator. What if the police see its running and search the incinerator for evidence? The more evidence placed in, the longer it will take to completely burn possibly (like a uniform takes 1 minute to completely burn where a knife may take the full hour length.) leaving a knife with enough evidence to analyze. And the more the police are possibly called to school the more sus they get at yandere-Chan.

If you ask a student about another student then they could say their opinion, if it is negative, you could see them spreading rumours/gossip you told them or say ‘yea that seems true, they suck’ and if they like them they could try to deny/stop the rumours or ask them about it. Thanks for reading:)

something i noticed, is when you get hurt by the delinquents, visibly bruised, and when you are walking around the school, the teachers don’t care, and from my perspective, that seems quite peculiar. also, making different body shapes will be easily distinguishable, and make each character more unique, with different noses, eyes, eyebrows, and face shapes. Edit: Also, different skin colors would be good.

So, basically what you're saying is: Like how you need to do the task of every member of the delinquents to gain their trust to join them, it'll work the same as in every club(not including that you have to change your aspect). I also have a suggestion now that we touch that topic:
You have to do several things to join the delinquents, but in the other clubs you can ask the leader to join their club and they automatically accept. I have 3 things to talk about:
1_. As well as the delinquents, you'll have to finish the club members tasks in order to join their group. If you haven't done the members tasks, the club leader will decline saying that they can't know if you would fit the club.
2_. Depending on the club leader's personality, you'll have to do other things in order to join their club, for example: Oka Ruto(Occult club leader) has a shy and creepy personality, so in order to join the occult club, you'll have to finish their club members tasks and do another task for her, because she is scared that you'll betray her and ruin her reputation as a club leader, so you'll have to do more than just finishing the club members tasks to gain enough of her trust to be in the occult club. Another example is Kizana Sunobu(Drama club leader) has a preppy and arrogant personality, meaning that you'll have to do a task for all the club members and you'll have to do something that impresses Kizana like a great idea for a play or your acting skills and then she'll see that you are great for the club's reputation and she'll let you in, also making the framing feature more difficult to access and other things that might help you that are from the drama club. And another example is: Uekiya Engeika(Gardening club leader) has a sweet personality, and she probably trusts a lot of people. So you'll have to finish all the club members tasks and nothing else, because she trusts you enough to let you in.
3_. When it's class time, we could have pages of skills to upgrade to be able to join the clubs, for example: if you want to join the occult club, you'll have to upgrade your knowledge on demons and other things, if you don't work on those skills, it'll be very hard for you to get in the occult club, if you want to join the drama club, you'll need to upgrade your skill on acting, if you don't work on that skill, you won't be able to get into the club because the whole point of the club is acting, and if you're not good at it, there's no purpose for Yandere-chan there, and if you want to join the gardening club, you'll have to work on your gardening skills, if you don't work on those skills, you'll have to do more things to get in the club, but less than the other examples I gave because, as I said, Uekiya can probably trust people easily, and the same for all the other clubs.
That's all I wanted to talk about. It's just my opinion on how to make the game a bit more interesting and challenging! I hope this helps you with the game! ❤

Whenever the player kills a student, they TOUCH them in some animations. So my idea would be:

-Picks up
the Student (or touches them in any other way), their DNA would be on that student. When the police interrogates the body, they'd find the players DNA on that person, resulting in them being arrested. That way, the player always needs to dispose of the corpse afterwards.

I have one problem:
Sooo yeah basically the photography club. In mission mode and regular game when they are in their investigating state, they would just know the EXACT location of a person, So if u kill a person the photography club would just know the location of the corpse. It gets annoying in mission mode when the "no corpse discovered" thing is activated, cuz then the photography club would just sniff out the corpse wherever it is. Also if a corpse is in the girls locker room the GUY members just walk in the bathroom like it aint nothing and just discover the body.
Basically the way to fix this is to make them like Raiburu where she only checks where Osana was lastly standing.
So I know this is gonna get swept under the rug but I've been thinking about this for a while now. A new feature where if Ayano handles a body for too long, she'll get her fingerprints on the body, which police will be able to recognise. And as too not make this too overpowered, if Ayano can max out her seduction rate, or at least get it high, she can convince the police that she had simply been playing a game with her, or had shaken her hand before she died.

I’m not sure how I feel about having one a week per rival, I think it should be more like a month for each rival, yes there will be 2 months but those can be divided into vacation time or class trips to maybe try and get closer to Senpai I never really liked the Senpai pretty much has no reason to fall for Ayano, he was just a nice guy doing a nice thing. But with the extra two months in game it could be used for so many opportunities for Senpai to make a connection with Ayano. My suggestions are school trip days, vacation, maybe Senpai recognizes Ayano and stops by to talk to her at work ect, I know Ayano I suppose to be all shy and stuff around Senpai but that just doesn’t make any sense to me yes she can be nervous but if he tries and talk to her she should respond or try to invite him out each time a rival is eliminated to talk about how he feels and comfort him kind of like the second rival cut scene.
You know there are so many reasons for why it's one week, one rival. One reason is that there's 10 Rivals you have to go through which is around 2 to 3 months in total. 10 months is astromically long for a stealth love game, and one month removes much of the challenge for that Rival. Also there is a programmed way to make a connection with Senpai, by giving him gifts and telling him you gave them to him at the end of the game.
Also, each Rival's have a unique reason for their absence, One reason is for Asu Rito, the fifth Rival. She's gone for 4 weeks because she went into an olympics training camp where she trained those weeks without going home. Having to stay there for four months without going back home is not a great way to reason her absense.
That would take out the challenge. Having an entire MONTH to kill them is too long for a stealth game like this the whole point of having only a week is to challenge the player.
@@Enya_artist If it’s done right than no, it makes it easy to have everything laid out in the open and in the locations you need, if the game was longer and you would have time to get the items you need in different ways and do more tasks, since yandere Dev took a lot of inspiration from persona 5 having longer time periods for rivals is not out of the questions. I would rather take my time and really plan things out 1 week seems rushed especially we you can’t get things done at night. This could really be a great game if did some of the things I suggested.

The rivals have a reason for why they like senpai and why Senpai likes them Ayano should have that too. Osana likes Senpai because they were childhood friends, Amai was there to comfort Senpai because of what happened to Osana and then they go back to her families bakery. Everything needs to be fleshed out more and added on to it would add to the replayability factor. I know Yandere Dev wants it to be a stealth game but it’s more than that now and for as long as fans have been waiting we deserve something complete.

10 weeks is actually alot for ayano to make progress and I'm pretty sure depending on your actions, ayano will gain confidence to grow closer to senpai as the weeks go on.
Also the rivals are aware senpai is popular so wanting to confess at the end of the week isnt completely unrealistic.
In the end it's a fictional game in a fictional universe where anything is possible.
It's a good idea but it's really only good for the games story because gameplay would feel longer and boring since were limited to one area with the same characters,and yandere dev would have to take longer adding more stories,events,characters and coding which is already a problem since the game has been in development for 7 years

Maybe for the dead body problem.. There should also be a thing that if a body gets found the school will be cancelled for a day? And if it happens again it would be for more than one day? Like how when the counselor will make you stay home for more than Uno day when your bad... Or, if atmosphere gets either 100% or at minimum 60 they cancel the rest of the week of school to try and let everyone get a break and keep them safe from this school killer? Or if not the atmosphere. If more than 1 body is found in the week, then they would also be let go from school for the rest of the week..

I think that if raibaru were to get distracted by a giggle or a radio or if you were to ask her to follow you, I think Osana should also follow Raibaru in those cases. That way separating raibaru and osana will still be a challenge, raibaru wont stray away from a normal student’s behavior, and it makes Osana and Raibaru’s friendship look more mutual. It shows us that Raibaru isn’t the only one who has her friends back, but Osana is also there for Raibaru

I feel like the reputation system is too black and white, I feel like it would be better if it was more detailed in having a reputation for different actions
The closest thing I could think of that isn't stupid is the Graph that appears when determining an npc's reputation. Like Meter could be determined from completing tasks, socializing, and gossiping. Respect Meter could be determined from being caught maniacally laughing, taking panty shots, trespassing, and for participating in club activities when in a club. Fear/Trust could be determined from looking suspicious (bloody clothed, armed, insane looking, etc.) and from completing tasks.

Maybe a way to get people to want to dispose of corpses is that maybe teachers will slowly begin to patrol the school and maybe the area the body was found would be closed off by a security camera. I do also think that Yan-chan's fingerprints appearing on the corpses is a possibility.
Although, based on what you said about the discovery of a corpse I think that it should be possible to dispose of Osana's corpse when we drown her in the swimming pool because that would result in the low school atmosphere thing happening and there's nothing we can do about it.
Hello YanDev, I thought of a really good idea for the final rival (Megami Saikou) that I hope you like.
What I was thinking was that Megami shouldn’t have a crush on Senpai, and instead of confessing to him on Friday, there should be a school meeting in the hall on Friday, and if Ayano doesn’t do anything, she will be exposed by Megami during the meeting.
I have already thought of an elimination.
Step 1: Join the Photography Club
Step 2: Kill someone (doesn’t matter who)
Step 3: Take a photo of the corpse.
Step 4: Take a photo of Megami
Step 5: Go to the Photography Club
(These next steps include my idea of a Photography Club Activity at 5:00 PM)
Step 6: Wait until 5:00 PM and participate In the Club Activity
When you participate, it should put you on some editing software (with the name Yan-Shop or something)
Step 7: Press Combine Images
Step 8: Press the pictures of Megami, and the corpse, then click save
Step 9: Go to the School Meeting Hall and enter a projection room.
Step 10: Press the Sabotage Option on the projector.
When you do this, Ayano will add the image she edited in the Photography room Activity. You will see why this is important later 😉
Step 11: Lower Megami’s reputation by 50, once again, you will see why that is important later 😉
After you have done all that, you have eliminated Megami, but let me explain how the meeting should go, (either successfully or not)
Ayano stands among her fellow students in the meeting, and Megami is on stage with several other teachers, Megami grabs the microphone and starts speaking. She talks about knowing the culprit of the crimes during the 10 week period. Then she yells out, “The murderer is Ayano Aishii from Class 2-1, and if you don’t believe me, well here is some photographic evidence that will blow you away”
(if my idea was added to the game, you don’t have to use the voice lines I have added, you can change them up if you would like too)
Then, shown on the projected screen would be the picture Ayano edited. It shows Megami walking away from a dead body with blood stained on her clothes. The teachers all become furious at Megami and tell her that 1st of all she killed someone, 2nd of all, she blamed someone for it.
BUT... if Megami’s reputation is too high, the school will stick up for her and Ayano will end up being exposed.
But if everything has been done right and Megami’s reputation has been lowered by 50, no one will stick up for her and she will be arrested on the spot.
