Fabulous aviary. The Goudian Finches are beautiful. I was going to put a few in with Bourke's & Turquoise parrots, but the Gouldians are a nervous little bird, & we have big dogs who can bark, so we decided not to. Your birds must be enjoying their spacious & natural aviary.
Trees inside the birdhouse, cover by roof, without the sun, they will die eventually. Unless those trees require to stay in the shade 100 percent. If i were you, i will replace those roofs by chicken wires. No cement floor, just soil ,and grow lots of different trees and plants, and grass, those will supply natural food for birds. A small fish pond with water fall somewhere on the ground. Build some small bird nests , hanging here and there for them to stay at night and during the winter.

Hieu Tran cats or fox will eat them even snakes..

someone please help me understand why pour slab floor for aviary? why not concrete only for walls?
Boerboy Washington Maybe cleaning is easier? Snakes and other "things" could not go through burrows to feast on birds and the eggs??
