The newer version? Was the translation improved upon? I honestly only got partially what the arc was about playing the older one. Only got the full scope reading the manga(it’s a short manga and easy to find online but be warned that the dragoon arc is portrayed first and the MC’s personality is weird but improves as the story goes). Do agree on the song, like a sense of pride and true majesty that refuses to let go despite a sense that all is gone, having it with the visuals it was like entering a necropolis that was weirdly beautiful and noble that the word ruin barely applied, like the most impressive mollusk’s shell imaginable.
@@lukejackson2354 i played the original version on PS1, emulated. I could never play the remaster, the upscaled graphics clash grossly with the pixel art.
What I really like is that their miracle did not come cheap all of them had to become aware of the pain that they deliberately locked themselves from(except Florina) with Sandra being different only in that she believed Florina shouldn’t be forced to carry that burden and had given too much of herself she was just entitled to have it back. They all had to feel the pain and the vulnerability to access their tears and as somewhat jaded century-old people that get wounded by crying it’s understandable it became ingrained in their society to avoid, and all of them(Sandra included) had to see all their shallow plans crumble due to them very much always refusing to communicate and be open .
My favorite place in the game. So much history, sadness, faint light of hope, & shattered beauty.
I just finished the Jumi arc... What a wonderfully moving story, and this song blew me away when I entered the Bejeweled City for the first time.

Always makes me cry for the Jumi. 😭
Don't cry for the Jumi, or you'll turn to stone.
@@gerragotheallidile Too late, already crying.
