Liam can still do good in the studio or relatively quiet live settings, like the piano session or unplugged... But he gets lost in the full band electric setting.
I think that this is the best in the album
Never trust professionally filmed performances, they're always edited and mastered on top of the original recordings, it's best if you look up an audience recording of the gig

You can tell that Liam didn't write the lyrics of this song (or at least the verses the chorus seems Liam-penned) just like Millionaire with Beady Eye. The vocabulary and poetry is just not him hahaha. Glad that he finally got a good lyricist behind him.

I'm actually happy for Liam now , he's showing why oasis had the magic back in the day . He's found his stride again . Now Noel can sit back and eat his words . Noel used to talk like he was oasis and Liam was along for the ride . Yea Liam was an idiot at times but the Thing is without Liam's iconic voice it's just another band , u could put him in front of a banjo it'd sound good . U put Noel at the front and although he can write a good song and play he is no front man , in fact he's got the charisma of a wet carrot .

MrPG41 Liam realized with Beady Eye that he’s not a great songwriter (although he can write some great tunes), so he’s using some famous songwriters like Greg Kurstin and Andrew Wyatt and the result is great - the songs still have Liam’s fingerprints but are much better than BE. No shame in getting help, everyone has their strentghs and weaknesses.
@@Marooshaz for me BE's problem wasnt about the songs. Their two albums were not that far from liams solo work in composition matters. I think the problem was more about marketing logistic and production. Also liams voice wasnt at its top as it is now.
@@facundorossi242 funnily enough my instant reaction to this song was that it sounded like it could have fit Beady Eye's BE album. I totally agree the production was pretty poor on their albums but Liam's Solo albums are really well produced and his voice is better than ever.
