I love how excited Eric got as he realized what was happening with the Windmill.
I love how he and Aaron broke down at the exact same time at the 'Phantom Menace' joke, with Calvin trying to keep in reigned in between them. Perfect symmetry.

I don't mind Glee, but I absolutely love Dan Harmon's hate for it. It makes for great Community jokes

I love how they always try to force themselves not to laugh at the "inappropriate" jokes (don't know why, there's nothing wrong with laughing at them). But this time they couldn't handle it and still laughed. I hoped they don't continue that and let themselves just laugh naturally.

The funniest thing to watch is when eric and aaron try not to break laughing at that phantom menace joke. Gets me every time 😂 lmao
This episode aired out of order. Remember last week when Leonard told Jeff he'd look dumb in shorts, and Jeff said he learned about his gambling problems at family day? In what was I believe the third of many "Shut up, Leonard!" moments.
Also the woman that Jeff thought was hitting on him and a little disappointed when she wanted to talk to Abed, makes more sense since he's broken up with Slater after family day.

Jeff was actually a good dude this episode.
Community and Glee were in the same time slot on TV fighting for an audience. Since Glee got the majority, Dan Harmon and his writers threw some jabs their way during the show. There are plenty more Glee jokes to come. I also believe it was a similar situation to Arrested Development, where even though it was comedy gold, whoever tried to market it to viewers kept failing and making the ratings suffer.

Unless I missed some kind of confirmation by Dan Harmon, I don't think the Human Being has ever been Abed. I don't know why they keep saying that. Haha. I mean, I know it's been a theory that a lot of viewers have thrown out, but come on guys.

only one thing bothers me if im completely honest...this whole "we shoudnt laugh about that", i get that they dont want to offend anyone by laughing about it...
I know some jokes came to be an especially hot topic in America over the last years...but god damn if you find it funny then just laugh about it.
I might be overthinking it, but it feels so unnatural for them which i never experienced from the crew before.
Still a great reaction series so far...and it will only get better.

The episode that almost made the studio end Community because of the amount of craziness and budget they spent and somehow in season 2 Dan Harmon got a pass to go even crazier.
Fun fact: in the German Dub of this scene 8:53 Jeff says “I hate LOST“. I’ve never understood why they did that 😂 I love LOST btw, funny that Eric wore a Dharma shirt in this reaction.

@@RaffyDGoat Ooh probably because LOST had it's controversial final season around the same time S1 of Community was made. It was a really big deal at the time since it was the 'best' show on TV in a time before streaming

I was watching 'Demolition Man' in South Korea, and instead saying they were going to Taco Bell, the line was dubbed over with Pizza Hut (although they obviously couldn't change the scene itself). I just figured it was because there are no Taco Bells there, but there are a lot of Pizza Huts.
@Raffy Yes, I love LOST too. They could have left it at Glee in German. Just as well known. And more believable that Jeff's girlfriend really wanted to watch Glee with him and he doesn't like it. - I also have a problem with the "Streets ahead" joke. It's just not that funny in German sub. Not to mention THE Germans in Community

Again, a great episode just in part because of how COMMITTED they were. Britta and the screaming during the switch while Troy yells about how he doesn't understand her--*chef's kiss* Like, this episode is not even among my favorites but it's still such a goddamn joy.
