  • While seeing Andalucia’s golden three places to visit, don’t make these mistakes in Seville. Join our Full Time Travel family while we explore Plaza de Espana, Seville Cathedral, La Giralda and try to see the Alcazar.
    All-in-all, Seville was a hit for our whole family and we believe it will be for you too! It’s an absolute MUST-SEE on your visit to southern Spain. We do have some regrets though. We made a few mistakes along the way which we will tell you about in the video.
    We started near the Plaza de Espana where we explored Spain through art and took in a Flamenco show. We then made our way to the Alcazar where we made our biggest mistake of the day. Then we checked out the Seville Cathedral before heading on to Portugal.
    Don’t forget to subscribe below to follow our journey throughout Spain and the world. We have some amazing adventures in store for you to discover.

    I recently spent 6 weeks in Seville. I assure you, Seville is not "underwhelming." And I have visited Ronda, Cordoba, and have stayed in Granada for 5 weeks in total. While I think Granada is magical and La Alhambra is a sight not to be missed and the other two cities are spectacular in their own rights, Seville is amazing, too.

    I literally saw another channel saying to leave Seville last as it's the most spectacular. ofc this is your opinion but I personally wouldn't mark something based on a subjective preference as a mistake

    I love the background music makes the experience of watching the beautiful historical places so surreal.

    Its amazing to me that the Plaza de Espada is free. Such a unique and awesome place!

      Agreed I just saw it today. Being an afionado of flamenco guitar music experiencing a flamenco large project of 6 artists in seville turned me to tears. Sadly my phone didn't record it, so I'm considering going back the next day (which isn't normal as I'm touring round andalucia). They will probably charge for entry in the future but it's totally worth it.

    Seville is on our list of places to visit when we get back to Spain. Love the Star Wars connection! Also, that Seville Cathedral is spectacular :)

    • @EveryFurtherMile
      @EveryFurtherMile  Před 2 lety +3

      Seville is wonderful, the Cathedral as well. If you do go, be sure to see all four of Andalusia's treasures. We'll be talking about that in our next video. 😍

    That ramble about not knowing when you're departure date was puts a big downer on your tourism credential.

    I've did day trips to Granada, Ronda, Malaga, Cordoba and Seville from Torremolinos on the Costa Del Sol. I do agree that you need at least a couple of days to see Seville but I did manage to see the Giralda Tower, Cathedral, Royal Alcazar, Plaza de Espana, Maria Luisa Park, Torre Del Oro and the river cruise all in 1 day AND I was there in late April

  • @alisong2328
    @alisong2328 Před rokem +1

    The April Fair is not always a great experience for tourists. The fair is made up of "casetas" which are booths or temporary halls that are primarily owned/managed by private clubs, business and family groups. You need to be a member or guest of a member to gain entrance. This can leave you feeling left out. Tourists are free to walk the grounds and can enter the limited number of public "casetas." Of course, the atmosphere is festive and it's great for people-watching!

    You have missed cordoba. We are here now in seville. Aside from your 3 main attractions, the parks are great across from plaza de espana. . We did not experience any coach loads of visitors in the parks. Plenty of beautiful and calming walks away from the main attractions

      @EveryFurtherMile  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for the tips! Next time we'll have to spend some more time to explore the parks :) We did hit Cordoba and LOVED it! The Mosque Cathedral was Amanda's favourite Cathedral and my second favourite. czcams.com/video/JRY09jSIOSU/video.html

    I really enjoyed the images from inside the Cathedral, and the music selection was so perfect! We are considering a trip to Spain next Spring with Dan & Amy and the kids. Your videos will be an excellent guide in planning! Hope you are all keeping well. It sure looks like you pack A LOT into your sightseeing days! Take good care of one another❤️

    Did you guys rented a car? I’ll be in Marbella for a week at the end of November 🤞🏻my goal is to go to Seville at least for a day most likely will stay overnight. Any suggestions?

    • @EveryFurtherMile
      @EveryFurtherMile  Před rokem +1

      We rented a car in Paris for the three months we were in Europe :) I would recommend looking for a Hotel with parking included and located in the heart of the action. It may cost a little more but you'll save that money in parking and the time lost navigating transit, unless your a Spanish speaker, then just near transit might be good enough. We stayed overnight in Rhonda and left Seville after spending the day there, so we don't have any recommendations for Seville itself. :)

    This is horrible advice. Seville is not tobe missed. No one would swap Seville for ronda

    • @EveryFurtherMile
      @EveryFurtherMile  Před rokem

      Everyone is different, but our best advice is see them all. But I would agree, Seville vs. Ronda Seville is the better choice. Seville vs. Granada or Cordoba on the other hand we wouldn't choose Seville. :)
