    Thanks, i wondered how a natural gas well with low pressure entered a line with higher pressure.

    What I cannot wrap my head around is if there is a pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet, the outlet will transport more gas if the diameter of the pipeline is the same. So the input cannot keep up with the output, how is this solved?

    I need a 10 hp compressor that can make at least 3500 psi to liquify air. what kind of equipment is available used ? Sauer makes the hurricane for fueling.

    Hi! I like your video. Could you tell me where can I buy a natural gas compressor. I have a genetator that works with natural gas, but it needs a higher pressure (30 psi) in order to run efficienrly. Or, how to build one at home. Thank you in advance! Can I use an air compressor?

    • @Jankycattlecompany
      @Jankycattlecompany  Před 5 lety +1

      Not sure that is your issue as the engine side of your generator will be knocked down into ounces going into the carb. Should only need a few psi to run it. Air is a no go as it is not a fuel source.

    Great video. Thanks for the information. What is the difference between an inlet compressor and an off-gas compressor? Where I work they have both as well as a two phase and three phase separator.

      Let me look into inlet / off gas and I’ll get back with you. Not 100% sure what you are referring to.

    How many compressors are in a typical compressor station and what would be the least number and what would be a maximum number. Thanks

      I have been on facilities where there is single stage, 2 stage and 3 stage. It all depends on your suction and discharge psi to where you are going with your gas.

    The line pressure where I work runs around 100 to 150 psi an I work around Utah new Mexico Arizona and colorado

      Yep selling into LP (low pressure) would have a compression station somewhere down the line to take it up from 100 to 800+

    Nice video I worked for mobile back in the early 80s in Northern California we had a clean field don't know how to control hide natural gas 45 Wells and 32 compressor something like that I love you sing a song that that when you compress the gas you are also storing energy in it because compressed gases is storing energy takes energy to get there and it stores that energy and will release it at some time if it's allowed to expand and a compressor might be good to explain that they are very simple in this they have no actuation system for the inlet or exhaust valves are simply a one-way valve in their energy in the form of a multi-plate valve disc valve Reed valve whatever we had to meet in the in the range of 660 PSI for PG&E probably a most entertaining part was starting up a large blink of an atlas with a giant fly will you borrow borrow them over and used natural gas on top of the Piston to to get a turning and bringing the gas and bringing the spark great fun back in those days I was always a thinker in a inventor and I had the idea of harnessing wind energy but instead of making electricity directly just just haven't run out of window running a compressor compressor gas up to very high pressures wife wanted to vent a storage container you can use it to run air Motors to run your shop you can use to even use their motor to generate electricity but they're they're actually doing that now. They took my idea from the early eighties and they're now they're storing high pressure are underground because of off-peak Demands when when wind is blowing and you need you need like a battery restoring high pressure gas any kind of gas that is a gaseous State storing it under high pressure is storing energy in in in the even if it's not flammable but it's stored energy because it's compressed on the compressors it was not very common for the intake valve to leak or fail work on run exhaust valve on the intake valve on Sundays compressors which were somewhere opposed twin run by Decap engine converted to that gas and we would just check all the switches and gauges and change the chart a chart on the meter and then you just touch the intake valve on the president heads on each compressor head and if you take valve was unusually hot then it's you can be guaranteed it's leaking cash because that's crazy when you have the intake charge being compressor blowing back out the intake port wall of words over out
