Tim I’m up in Gainesville and I’m out and about in the national forests all the time- if you ever see a red Dodge Ram at any of the creeks or parks stop and say hey- just subbed man!
@@timellis5954 ah gotcha. I read through one of the old geological surveys. They mentioned Gwinnett and white counties as high producing but under worked. With float that rich I figured you found a load. Happy hunting.
I have a quartz rocks completely speckled with chunks of iron ore and was wondering if there was a way to send you a pick and you tell me if you think its worth pursuing
I'd have to say just crush a piece and pan it down. I've only been hard rock mining for about a year. What I've learned is from trial and error. Hope your quartz is loaded!
@timellis5954 thank you bro I am looking at cast iron mortar and pesle on Amazon to do that until then I'm just gonna keep collecting quarts with large iron chunks and holes throughout it
@@timellis5954 word. I feel ya on that. There are guys out there that do film in secret locations. It takes some forethought though. Usually the shots are tight and reveal only what you’re dealing with and nothing else. That being said, if those rocks are hanging out at the park, it’s hard to keep that from being obvious. Anyway I love seeing those rocks. They help the novice learn what he’s looking for/at. Thanks for the content!!!
Congratulations, that's a great result. Did you get the rocks out of a creek you prospect in or were they collected away from water?
In the creek.
Great video maybe I need to start picking up the buggy quarts and crushing them might be better than playing in the freezing water this winter
Informative video! Happy to see you doing so well 😊

Will do, and Thanks!
Nice, Are you getting these in place in the vein? Georgia has some nice gold.
No, this is all float
How many grams would you say you have after melting away all the impurities and turning it into shot?
I didn't weigh the gold from this video but I do have other videos where I crush and weigh the gold. Check them out.
Nice large pot, did you make it and stamper yourself ?
The dollypot was given to us from a good friend.
Stamper is just a bully bar.
Great work Tim. Happy to see you doing well bro!
Thanks bro. Hope to come hang out with you again soon.
@@timellis5954 I look forward to it. Always welcome anytime
Nice surprise Tim
Where are you at Gwinnett?
I live in gwinnett but do most of my prospecting in North GA.

Holy Canoli! Heavy pans.
I've got a quartz rock set aside for you to crush on your channel. I've had it since the wegm picnic. Didn't see you there to give it to you.
That's because I was at Turner digging all day lol. January meeting? I'll also be digging. Never been to a meeting lol.
