- We love to go camping in Europe.
Camping is the best way to travel around Europe for nature lovers.
We had our small car in Germany, Renault Scenic. Since we love camping and miss our motorhome in New Zealand, we decided to build our tiny camper with our little car.
Of course, it took some time to make the installation plan for the camper. However, it took only a few hours to measure the spaces and trim old futon bed to the bed in the camper.
After installing the bed, we saw lots of extra spaces. We could make some boxes for our camping utensils.
This tiny camper gives us lots of freedom to drive around in Europe at low costs. We camped by beautiful lakes, beach and forests. So easy and cheap to drive around Europe.
Lots of fun while you are in Nature! Feel so free!

I had an old senic and often drove to visit family in the country , I'd love sleeping in it with my dog, after a booze-up. Loved how easy the back seats came out.. unfortunately I didn't have CZcams, back then. So never thought of converting...

I’ve got 2 dogs and I’ll be car camping with them next month. So that’s definitely going to be a challenging adventure 😅

How did you get on with the Ikea baby mattresses, you are the 2nd person doing the same. I'm wondering how they lived up to the adult body weight, with you being 2 adults over middle area. But as I'm overweight, I'm wondering how they would live upto the job, because otherwise it seems to be an excellent plan.

TobiKnows thanks. It’s 2004 scenic standard. I am not sure all the measurements at the moment since I am in New Zealand. Look for grand scenic, I think it’s longer than standard one!
