I'm from a town outside Cork City but havent lived there for over 45 years but will be in the City in a couple of months and will try the Coca Cola bikes and that breakfast place that was featured and of course a few pints at The Long Valley and Le Chateau .💚🇮🇪

Great video, just learned tonight that my ancestor James Andrew Murphy came from Cork, between 1740 and 1770, and traveled to St.Joseph Newfoundland, Canada. Been interest in finding out more information on Cork and found this video very informative on the culture in Cork, and too no surprise it’s very like Newfoundland with their Irish ways. 🇨🇦❤️ 🇮🇪

Six Miles Away, I haven’t visited Ireland yet but watching videos like this makes me want to take a trip over that way sometime in the near future, once this pandemic is behind us all of course.
The way of life in Newfoundland is very similar to the Irish ways, we have art, folklore, dancing, access to open Irish bands every weekend and sometimes even on the weekdays, we like to drink, joke and have fun, we have the oldest city in North America, the most bars on one street in North America

anisoara novacescu Great Choice! I lived there for 4 years and really learned to love this city! The first 2 years the weather wasn’t good but the last 2 it was fine and we even had a summer haha it also rained less but it always has a kind of gray sky. It didn’t bother me too much though. Most important is that you have the right clothes 🙃

oh yes I almost dont remember how it feels to have fun and go out and be social or dance and sing along to life music in pubs :) stay strong! almost there!

Rebels abú 😎 As a Cork man born and bred I am definitely biased but I think Cork is the greatest ciry in the world. Not for its sophistication or glamour but for the people, vibe and relaxed way of life!

Living in the USA I just spoke to a customer service person in Ireland . I asked her what cities she would reccomend to a tourist . She said Dublin and Cork!
haha yes the two biggest cities :) they have their charmes in their own ways. You should visit both to see which one you like more :) For Cork you already got some tips here!

bababoo zonkie you are welcome :) in my opinion it is not always cold and raining due to global warming! Last year we had around 4-6 weeks a very nice summer up to 30 degrees even and also snow in winter which never happens. Usually the weather is around 5-20 degrees so not super cold. Sometimes it rains a lot and sometimes it is just a short shower for a few minutes ... for me the most annoying was the wind and rain combined haha

bababoo zonkie I lived there 4 years. It took me some time to adjust. Let’s say the first 1.5 years I didn’t enjoy it too much but then a lot. There are houses/apartments with mold and very old but there are also super new and fancy ones. It also depends on the city but in cork they are improving more and more. Just make sure you visit yourself and not just rely on photos. :)

Six Miles Away Thanks for recommending Cork xd.Ireland as a whole is a very underrated country compared to our neighbours like France,Netherlands,Germany,Spain,Portugal,Belgium etc... @@SixMilesAway I do think Ireland is a beautiful country with great people and everything- but the only problem from my point of view is the weather.
@@elmasry7530 Maybe yes, maybe no. Some people don't like warm climate...and actually, I always preferred the mild winter there over the super cold one. I had maybe a hard time the first year adapting to it but then quickly I didn't mind at all. But yeah, many people always mention the weather as a disadvantage.

If you've never been? you need to and then you can make up your own mind. It's an amazing City with amazing people with so much to see and do.
